V3 Slow performer in Win2k

I installed the nt4 drivers for my v3 2000 in win2k and it seems to work ok but there are a few problems i've noticed. 1. Sometimes when i start q2 the screen is all messed up. . it loads but the picture is tweaked.

Hi all, i need help getting my aureal vortex1 sound card working under win2pro build 2072. . . i have tried both win95/98 and nt4 drivers but they didnt work (surprise surprise) did any of you manage getting this sound card to work in any way? i have tried soudblaster 1.

I installed Win NT 4. 0 because 98 is a crappy, unstable, overbloated piece of crappy crap. NT is clean and very simple to setup, and I was suprised that my games installed and worked with SP3 and the Diamond NT drivers on the Monster II CD rom.

I tried running carma 2 in pro, but it says using NT (duh) is there a way to tell it that it's in 98? of course I could always go into 98, but that means rebooting

Viper550 Doesnt work in SVGA mode???

I have Win2k Professional beta3 (2031) and when I install it on my machine it finds all the components great and installs the drivers but when I let it boot into SVGA mode the screen goes blank after the windows 2000 loading progress screen, but I can boot it in VGA mode and everything is fine.

TNT only VGA-Mode

Hi, i am using Windows 2000 build 2031 (b3) and me Viper 550 TNT doesnt seem to work with it, I can install any driver i find, but in display properties there is always a VGA-save-driver, i have tried the 1.

Well, tried installing the demo of HG2 on RC1. It installed fine and just said some junk about win2k not being win95 compatible and I ignored it. Tried running it and it refuses to run. It goes black for a sec, then says it's producing an error log.

Dual CPU and SB 128

I have seen some info on SMP and the sound blaster live, but not much info on the sound blaster 128 under a dual cpu machine (in windows 2000). I have a abit BP6 (two socket 370 celerons) and when installing beta 3 of Windows 2000 on my old slot one/single celeron system my sb128 worked just fine.

Sharing Favorites, addresses between win2k/win98

Hi, Im currently running Win2K beta3 and Win98 on a dual boot system. What I want to do is set my favorites, address book, mail files and so on to be the same for both OS's. ie Ive got Win2K on my D: Drive, but I want it to store the favorites in my c: drive (win 98) same with *.

for some odd reason the banshee. inf I found here used to work with beta 3, but ever since I upgraded to rc1, it wont work. IS there a new inf I can download that will work with RC1?.

Well I can play the two Rainbow Six games, however, what the problem is that under Windows 2000 Beta 3 my settings (such as movement keys, display and such) are not being preserved. . . Sorta like it is not being saved to disk.

How i install openGL for win2k ?

im on win2000 pro ver. 2072 and my video card is a creative blaster TnT ( nvidia ) i try to run quake3 but it wont start it ask for openGL , what should i do to be able to play that game ? thx for the help snooky.

I have a Creative DXr2 DVD Encoder card and build 2031 of W2k and i wonder if there is a driver or something that i can use so i can get it to work in 2k since im fed up with Windows95 (NT lacks mm support so i cant run that unfortuanatly) Regards Christer
