Hey People; Well i have Windows 2000 Proffesional Installed on my Machine. All of a sudden dont remeber after installing which Program. I cant see anymore whats the Group name a User is assigned to. And when i want to remove an existing user i get an error message saying Error in the Path for Active Directory or so ...

Booting a Floppy in a DOS Box

Does anyone know a way to boot a diskette insided a DOS box under W2K? I have the old Wizardry games on floppy disks and they load there own bootstrap stuff. They work fine if I boot them on startup, but it would be nice to be able to play them in a window on the desktop.

Zone Alarm has blocked the second pc in my small home network from using the internet. I have Internet connection sharing set up with mine as the server. How do I tweak Zone alarm so it allows the other pc access? Or is it not possible.

Help! Don't know what I did (don't think I did anything), but now only administrators can access the internet from my Win2kPro machine. Any ideas - I really don't want everyone to have to be an administrator.

I am having problem using Update command to get the internet servers list. Whenever I click Update, the game would start getting the list but half way through the list, I would lose the internet connection and I would never get the list.

I know there is a registry edit that you can make any window or program transparent when inactive. There is also a program that does this neat little feature for you. . only in Win2000 does this work.

I have a Dynamic IP program that connects to a server and lets me have a static host name that changes IP with my copmuter each time i log on. I have a few users on this machine. and I want the program that runs to run for all users.

I got single player working by deleting the gimme. dll file or whatever : P It works at least, however, none of the profiles that I create in the game have the picture to go along with them. Also, i tried to play an ip game with my friend last night, with both him and I hosting to test why it wasnt working.
