Haven't you noticed that all of the questions asked here are all about Windows 2000 and the errors it has or is given out to people. Some games don't work, hardware doesn't work, BSOD, illegal operations, sudden changes in the OS.

Applying Colour correction thing to movies

Right. My monitor is severely, severely, fukced, so i have it looking alright by using a colour profile. Ie: Display properties>settings>advanced>colour correction Now. This is ok, it makes everything look ok (it was really really green), and windows applies it to games.

Ultra 2 SCSI Question

Ok here goes. I have a couple of questions. I currently have an Adaptec 39160 SCSI card. Right now on the 50 pin channel (Ch. A, i think) I have my Plextor 8x20 burner using scsi ID 0. Tomorrow I will be adding two Seagate Baracuda drives onto one of the 68 pin channels.

Hmm it seems to me that you all think it can just be done in the registry. . . well some can but alot cannot. specially with shellswaps and ****. We have so many tweaks bout over 200 and counting that all im doin is making it easy on you all to tweak your system.

Odd problem with videocard

I've got an old Pentium II 350 with a savage4 card in it. When I start the computer the videocard doesn't turn on the monitor. The problem get's solved by oppening the case and wiggeling the card and then starting the computer.

Zip 650 USB CD-RW=WTF!?!?!

Someone help me out here. Okay, my main system is having problems recording audio and other stuff onto CD-Rs but doesnt hiccup at all when recording to CD-RWs. Regardless of being audio or data cd's, it still puts out a buffer underrun problem, and gives me another coaster.

Win2k Pagefile ?

One of the things about Win2k that I've been trying to understand is how its pagefile is reported under task manager. I currently have 384 megs of RAM and I have my swapfile set to 20 megs, down from the 250 megs I originally set it at.

Hi, Whistler has a built in driver for the Matrox G400 graphics adapter, i have set the refresh frequency to 85Hz, but it drops to 60Hz when using openGl and to 75Hz when using Direct3d. I installed the win 2000 G400 drivers - but they also don't allow setting a higher refresh rate.

Here's one not too many people might not know about. . . . If a game used to work with previous video drivers or before you upgraded your DirectX version. Simply take the DDRAW. DLL out of the previous DirectX ver and place the file into the game directory.
