New printer problem

Hello again I'm Running Windows 2000 final and installed my OKIPage 4w succesfully. The problem is now, when the printer isn't switched on (no power) the task SYSTEM eats 90% of my CPU power and the system becomes VERY slow.

Hey guys ! I got win2k pro final here, and wasn't able to play my favorite game with my voodoo 2. . So there's what i did. . Before installing Win2k , i used regedit and i export the key refering to Nhl2k.

My server is running Win2K server 2128 and Sygate 3. 1 for Internet Connection Sharing. The 98SE clients all work wonderfully but I can't get my 2195 Win2K Pro to use the connection. (You can ping internet IP addresses via the server, but not DNS names) If Sygate works, is there something obvious that I'm missing? ...

Hello! I am wondering if anyone know if the 3dfx Desktop TV/FM is/will be supported in Windows 2000. There doesn't seem to be any WinNT drivers available. It is the ONLY component in my system that I cannot get to work due to lack of driver support.

I am running NT4. 0 with service pack 4 and when I start FS2000 I get no sound? but when I quit FS2000 I have sound, It just won't play the game with any sound. . . . .

HI FOLKS!! I'm currently pretty darn pleased with the progress of win2k. I've gotten all my hardware working and i'm amazed, the system hasn't crashed even once!!!! NO explorer. exe has preformed. .

Pioneer DVD 303, G400 & Win2k

I've bought a Pioneer DVD-ROM DVD-303 SCSI a few days ago. When I first installed it, it has properly been detected by Win2k, drivers were installed, then I installed WinDVD 2000 and I managed to play a DVD with it and my G400 DualHead.

I can't get Descent 3 to work with Win2000 build 2195. I have a Voodoo3 2000 video card and a PCI 128 sound card. The game starts and goes to the menu area without any probelms. When I go to start a new game the computer screen goes blank and the computer locks up.

Hi! I know this is old&stuff like it, but it really pisses me off: I've inslaleld LW3 in W2k 2195 Pro by the instructions from win2kbox. 8m. com. Done everything like it says, but hell, the softwer for LW3 doesn't start.

Harddrive Problems

I'm running Win2k final build on a BP6 with a Maxtor Ultra66 drive on my ata66 controler, and an IBM Deskstar 14. 4 7200 on my normal IDE connectors. Everything has been working fine, however, yesterday I rebooted and now my IBM drive is listed as not formatted and its not accessable at all in windows2000.

Homeworld crashes w/2195+GEforce

I cannot get homeworld to work with 2195. 3 and Creative Anihilator pro (Geforce DDR) with 3. 65 drivers. As soon as you select either D3d or Ogl drivers in setup, the game crashes to a black screen.

i've installed nero 4. 0. 7. 5 on win2k final (reboot->blu screen->reboot>last good config), but when i make an audio compilation and select tracks with drag & drop nero tells me:the nero driver is not installed.
