I am Not a Geek dot com has posted a review on the Samsung SW-216 While you may have a 52x CD-ROM, the rating of 52X is a maximum rating, and on the inside tracks of the CD where the CD-ROM starts reading from, you are only going to get about 16x at the most.

Does anyone have a problem with the new Detonator drivers? When I run DXDIAG and go to display. Then try to run the DirectX Acceleration test, it will fail on me. If I load the 12. 81 drivers it works fine.

I have Win2k running on two machines and WinXP running on a third. They're all networked through a router I have setup and can see each other and share files fine. The only problem I have is password protecting the WinXP computer.

I'm using XP build 2600 (RTM). Whenever I do anything high bandwidth (IE use my web cam, sometimes when syncing my pda, or copying files from a cf card) my usb drops out. I've tried this with both a KX133 and a KT133 board with the same results.

XP+tribes2=NO NO?

Installed Xp clean install, installed tribes 2 did all the patches and started it up and I get unhandle exceptions everytime I start it. I tried running win98 compability mode with no success. hopesome one had dealt with this problem and solved it.

Bit of a strange one, this I have a dual boot: Win me (Drive C), Win 2000 (Drive D) and both OS's screens are in the same position without me having to adjust the screen left or right when I boot between one and the other.

Ok, whenever I try to run an installation program by Installshield. It will crash and say SETUP. EXE has generated errors and is being closed by windows. . . Dr. Watson's log says this: Application exception occurred: App: (pid=344) When: 9/24/2001 @ 19:39:42.
