RC2 Using WarFtp No working because of Busy Port

Well i have RC2 installed and when i setup the Warftp Demond and when i try to initiate the server it gives and error saying that Some other service is already using the specified port. I have this PC on a LAN using a Domain.

Networking between win2000 and win98?

Hi guys. When I try to network from my machine running windows 2000 2195 to my dad's machine running windows 98 why does networking run so slow when I double click on his machine in the network neighborhood? Once I get in the C: though and I am browsing his folders it runs fast again.

Would anybody be interested in an IRC channel for the users of this forum? Sometimes, the forum does get a bit slow especialy when it's an emergency and you need answers fast. So perhaps this isn't such a bad idea.

hey guys, dont even know why the hell i was taken off the server! (angel ring above head) anyways, thats what i get for using a web host url. anyways im into redirecting urls now. if my page ever changes i'll just cahnge the internal url, the current will never change unless stated.

Cannot install ASPI

I have read many of the CDRWIN ASPI install problems. I am using the RTM build of Win2k with an IDE HP 7100. No matter what I do I cannot get ASPI installed. The aspi drivers from golden hawk are the upgrades to 4.

ASUS V3800 capture driver

has anyone got a capture driver working under w2k for the ASUS V3800 video in?? there is a beta NT4 driver and a WDM driver for win98 out. . has anyone got any of those working under w2k??.

softice 4.01 keyboard problem

Whenever I load up softice by hitting control-d softice loads fine but when I exit softice I lose all keyboard function and I cannot get it back without rebooting. Anybody here gotten softice4 to work.

I have an Aopen AX6BC Pro Gold motherboard. It supports ACPI in win98 with the setup switch /pj. However in win2k build 2195 it says Standard PC. I installed win2k on a PC at work and it says ACPI PC.

Well the probs are that when aim hosting a game on mij client they can't come in. my configs are ,, w2k server ,cable connection on dhcp ,2 network cards at one computer ,1 for external (dhcp + share) and the second for internal network.

I know you've probably answered this a million times, but can someone help me getting Win2k 2195 working at a satisfactory speed? My system is thus : Dual P3-500's on QDI Brilliant X4 with onboard LAN + SCSI 512Mb RAM 5 x 4.

Help with Sony CRX100E in Win2k 2195!

I have a Sony Spressa CRX100E cd-rw, I cannot get Nero 4. 0. 7 to detect its a CD-R in Win2k but it does detect it in Win98. Have also tried the burning program that came with the drive CD Right 1. 5 but that didnt detect it either.
