You familiar with XP's task manager? Ctrl-Shift-Esc. Under View, select columns, add GDI objects to the list. THen sort by GDI objects. Is anything using a ton fo GDI objects? The more GDI objects a program uses, the slower your system will be.
Need help with TV-out with GeForce

I recently installed Windows XP, and overall, it's been really good to me. . . Except, I can't get my TV-out to work. I've tried every damn possible driver I can think of, and the only one that gets me close makes me restart my computer everytime I want to switch between screens.
Asus P4T & Win2k install help

I bought a Asus P4T about a week ago and have been trying to install Win2k on this new system. When the 2k setup starts it prompts you to press F6 and give it a controller driver but none of the drivers I have found work.
Fast switching...Problems

Ok, I enabled fast switching for my computer since I have a couple people using it. The switching works in my account , administrator, but it doesn't work well in the other acounts. I thought that this was because they weren't administrators so I changed the user accounts to be admins.

This is NOT A FINAL PRODUCT! The one I got was a beta and wasn't labeled as such, I ended up corrupting my RAID array and had to reformat. I didn't know the problem was Diskeeper 7 at the time and proceeded to reinstall it only to have my system corrupted again.

Found this little tidbit out on another Windows XP forum, so I thought I would relay what some lucky chap has found out regarding the ICQ menu's disappearing behind the ICQ 2000b window. Simply turn of Always on Top on the Main Menu > Contact List Options.

I have an AT style case that I customized and would hate to give up. The problem is that I can't seem to find any AT style boards anymore that can hold more than a k6-2 cpu. Does anyone know of any company that makes these boards? I would love to find one that is socket A.
How to view old registry

I have my registry from a previous install of win2k backed up on my HD. . . how do I view it so I can copy stuff out of it? When I try to open it with Regedit, it tries to overwrite my existing registry with that one.

I installed the newest set of drivers that were supposed to fix a problem i was having. I cannot boot into win2k server AT ALL. No safe mode, no debugging mode. Nothing will work. I'm assuming my last line of action is the Recovery Console.
