Adding second cpu in Win2k

Hi, just wondering if I need to reinstall Windows 2000 Pro if I just added another cpu. Running Abit BP6, just added another Celery 366 @ 550. Win2k doesnt recognise second cpu!!!! Is there a fix or patch, or am I stuck with a fresh install??????? Thanx.

Savage 3D and GL Drivers

Has anybody got a Savage 3D graphics card working in win2000 RC3 with GL drivers, I can't get the quake3 working, says can't open , openGL subsystem. Any ideas.

Just downloaded the lates TNT/GeForce 3. 69 drivers from installed and, lo and behold, AGP *IS* enabled. Also it seems that they have fixed a problem I was having with jerky screen in Virtual Pool (sound now delays a bit but that could be the hacked LiveWare I have).

LucasArts, Rogue Squadron, and 2195

I have build 2195, and have tried to install a LucasArts game, Rogue Squadron. It installs fine, but when I try to play, it tells me I need to install DirectX first. Of course, W2k has DirectX 7 already, so it won't install.

MS Intellimouse Explorer Build 2195

Anyone else have the problem with both the PS/2 and USB drivers showing up in the Device Manager. I've removed the PS/2 one about 5 times, but every time I reboot, it gets reinstalled. I've tried both the initial W2K 2195 drivers, and the drivers off the Intellipoint 3.

Mouse Pointers!

In 2183 Builld of Win2k Pro, there was a mouse pointer theme called inverse I believe, it basically took the colors of whatever was under the mouse and inversed them; it was nmy mouse pointer of choice.

Unreal Tourn restarts my computer ?????

I am using the win2k 3. 69 drivers and when I try to start UT it begins to load and then my computer restarts itself. Any suggestions? when i run it in safe mode it works in a window, but when i try to play it full screen it restarts the computer, what other drivers should I try for win2k and a Geforce ddr.

crash in Rogue Spear

Hi, anyone has this problem, I will crash sooner or later in multiplayer game (Rogue Spear) within half an hour, the game will just froze and I had to do a hard reboot, I have SB Live and any video card causes it, both my TNT2 and G400 same thing.

I have the most up to date ASPI drivers from adaptec 4. 60 , and yet WinOnCD says it can't check the SCSI chain for a CDR drive. How can this be rectified?.

I want to get the extra two buttons working on my MS IntelliMouse Explorer mouse but it won't let me install the IntelliPoint software for it saying I need Win9x, or NT 4. 0 to install it. Any Ideas?.

Hi, I have this problem with Win2k and Win Millenium Beta 2. I installed Win2k onto my Gateway Solo 2500 PII laptop with no hiccups. Full ACPI was detected. Great! I said to myself, but the smile wasn't to last.
