KT7A-RAID [v1.3] Question

So I finally got my KT7A-RAID & Athlon XP 1900+, & intend to install them later today, but having read through the manual I have 2 questions. I have 3 IDE drives & I would like to put them all on seperate channels.

Mouse driver help in NT4

Im running NT4 SP6 Workstation on a pc here at home. The other night I knocked over the tower unit and it locked up so I reset it. Now the mouse driver no longer loads correctly, I verified the mouse is still functional when I booted to a floppy application.

hey. . . . could someone please shed some light on the pentium 4 series ?? the 1. 6 ghz and above come in several flavours : 423/478 pin , 0. 13/0. 18 micron and with 256/512 cache. . . what is the difference ?is it that important to the home user ?? (Games\divx) and how come one motherboard, the intel 850 support ...

hi i dont know **** about comps i just installed a secondary HD on my comp and i have 1 exactly the same already as my master they both 30 gig HDs but the new 1 i just hooked up is only reading 1. 97gb why if its a 30 gig HD will it say 1.

One of my bosses has identifed the need to use this product. I've got a 120day evaluation copy, I've got a spare server with Win2k SP2 installed on and I'm ready to go. I've read lots of documentation on this product, but nothing beats actual real-world experience.

i downloaded the trial version of nav 8. 0 and everytime i try to install it is says not compatible but the i downloaded it from major geeks and they said it was compatible to all windows. so i hope i didn't download 27 megs for nothing.

Hard drive from hell!

Okay, I've got a 20GB Maxtor, that I think is going kaput. First, I get a new motherboard (Epox 8K3A+) and, now this hard drive seems to be giving me errors from hell, yet a 2nd 40GB drive hasn't be givin me any trouble at all.

GF3 Ti200 or GF4 MX440 ?

I don't know what to choose The price difference is about 50 € (US$60), with the GF3Ti200 being the more expensive. The Ti200 I was looking at is the Leadtek model, with 4ns DDR memory, it can be overclocked to Ti500 levels with no problems.

Ntbackup backs up when it wants...

For the most part, ntbackup has been working great in backing up our network drive. Every once in a while, it won't backup. There are no errors in my event log, and no backup log gets generated in my backup log folder.

Macintosh and Windows XP

I have a client who is moving to Windows XP from a Macintosh. He has a lot of files on his Mac and would like to network it to the Windows XP system. Does anyone know how to do this with Windows XP Pro? I have done it before with Windows 2000 Server, but did not know if Windows XP Pro would allow us to do this.

I know that I need it in order to use the net (sometimes), and I know that it is a part of win2k, but the heck does it do? The times that it accesses the net seem to be random from my prespective, and I can't find any decent explanations of what it does, just that i should allow it to connect.

I like task pane. How can i get it to DEFAULT ON or STAY ON all the time. It comes and goes as it f*ckin pleases, or until I got to View Task Pane or Right click on the Toolbar and bring it back. Some one help me for a change.
