Whenever I try and run a DirectX game, I get an error telling me that windows can't initialise DirectX. If I run the Direct3D test in dxdiag, I get the following error: Direct3D test results: Failure at step 8 (Creating 3D Device): HRESULT = 0x887602eb (error code) I'm running a 1.

Firewire HDD Removal Problem in WinME

Hot swap my *ss. Whenever I try to remove my Firewire HDD (Firewire HDD enclosure using Oxford 911 chipset with a Samsung UDMA66 HDD) using the Unplug or Eject Hardware in the WinME system tray I get an error message saying The device 'IEEE 1394 Disk' cannot be stopped right now.

I just installed a new Western Digital 80GB 7200 RPM disk along with a Radeon 8500 LE, the components work fine, but I am wondering if I need a bigger Power Supply. I currently have 250-watts. Before I was running only a 20GB 7200 RPM Maxtor along with a GF2MX.

When i start playing the game online it works smooth for the first minutes, then i get a error that HL. exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows I have downloaded all win2k patches, nvidia drivers, via drivers etc.

I am encountering a problem with some driver setup files under XP formatted with NTFS. During my install of my Epson printer windows returned a can't locate c:\ (files name) and the setup quit. Then the same problem during my VIA 4in1 setup.
