System Restore

I need to reinstall Windows and I need to know how to backup the registry because I do not want to put all of my tweaks back into my comp. Is there a good, free program or another way to back it up? If so please tell me.

Networking drivers

Hi, Not so much of a problem, more of an answer to a problem. I purchased a networking card to connect this machine, P4, 1. 5 Ghz, Win XP Home, to an upstairs machine, Dell, P3, 733 Mgh, Win 98 SE. This machine would not accept the drivers (on a floppy) although the documentation said that it was Win XP compliant.

MCSE Accreditation - is it worth the hype

I ask this question as a job I'm thinking of applying for lists MCSE accreditation in the Selection Criteria (also asks for Tertiary Quals) but only pays $AU46k. This is the only point in the criteria that I would not easily cover.

Experiencing Slow Logoff on W2K Servers

I'm experiencing a slow logoff on W2K Adv Server. Is the Logoff behavior different on W2K Adv Servers and WinNT ? I'm facing a prob with logoff which is taking a long time on W2K Adv Server when my applications are running.

GF4 TI4600 Performence Trouble

I bought a JETWAY GF4 TI4600 and throw out my GF 256. But now iam getting strange freezings with the new card The card works very fine and i get all the framerates i should get. But suddenly, everything freezes and and stands still for 2-5 seconds and then start to run again.

An Interesting Question to debate on...

It seems that whenever a new graphics card, sound system or whatever comes out I see a lot of posts on forums (not just this one) saying that they simply have to have them becuase it is a tiny bit faster than what they have now be it a the ATI Washing powder or the Nvidia Geforce.
