My desktop is screwed up

My mom (computer illiterate) copied the desktop folder to the desktop. Windows didn't allow me to delete it so I just copied it back over the Desktop folder in my user profile. Now the desktop is all screwed up.

I would like to overclock my computer. Does anybody know how to do it? I would like it to be a very easy to do. I know that my processor is an Athlon 1. 4, but I do not know what it is. What I mean is that I do not know if it is a T-bird or whatever other names of processors there are.

I've been trying to setup ME's ICS feature, got a PC with 2 LAN devices, 1 USB and 1 PCI, PCI card is for the home network (2 PC's) and the USB one hooks to the cable modem. I can share files between the 2 PC's without a problem.

Can anyone tell me what the OLD MS Exchange came bundled with? Not Exchange Server, but the OLD Exchange. Or can you point me to a LAN Mail server, or Intranet mail server that can run on 98/2000. It has to support printing and attachments.

WMP6/WMP7 Odd Problem with Movies

I still use Media Player 6 to play movies in Win2000, I have installed DivX and Intel Indeo, but now I have a very odd problem: every movie with the extension MPG/MPEG is displayed in full-screen, only showing your original WMP window size.

Hi ! Does anyone know how to enable cleartype fonts with Windows 2000? I've tried almost anything and. . . nothing. I know that XP and PPC are supported but what about Windows 2000? Is there any program to install or some kind of a special font? please help !!!! TIA Benny.

SB Live Digital out and Boston Digital Media Theater

Well basically the digital out on my SB live is not working with my Boston Digital Media theater. Anaglog works fine. I don't have any other digital receivers to test it out. I am using microsofts driver on win.

Just clean installed. NET RC1 yesterday and it is great. Only one well 2 problems. I can't get Intellipoint or intellitype to install. Sez that the os is not supported or some bullshit. so i got the package to extract and i found all sorts of stuff.

Mouse pointer not transparent in games (win2000)

Eya. In almost every game i've tried on win2K my mouse pointer is not transparent (there is a black shape/box/patteren/thing underneth. The same thing happens with certain text objects over 2d or 3d graphics.

I went from a P3 1GHz with a GF3 and 512MB PC133 RAM to a P4 1. 6GHz and 512MB RDRAM (all the other components stayed the same). The speed increase is very noticable actually It's definately a worthwhile thing to do.

Hey all Well, lets see here i got a nice 19' trinitron monitor, and i recently unchecked the hide modes that this monitor can not display. i now have my comp @ 1600 x 1200 with a 70mhz refresh, and it seems fine.
