Strange out of Memory problem

Alright I am having a very strange problem here. For some reason after a while my computer thinks it it out of ram when in fact i have over 300mb of ram free. It gets to the point where when I right click the little menu won't even come up.

Whenever I plugged my Logitech wheel in under Windows 2000 my Intellimouse Explorer would die and I'd need to power down (not just reboot) to get it back again. Just another reason why 2000 is never going back on my PC.

Hi I am getting frustrated with XP, I have been using xp for ages now and just cannot get past the problem I keep getting. . . Unlike windows 2000 it was very easy for networking and didnt have the problems I am having in windows xp.

anyway, I bought a santa cruz 5. 1 channel surround sound card (heard it was good) but I got a prob. Seems my card doesnt wanna use a dma, so im stuck with a system hang everytime a sound is played, no matter what.

Also, Maxtor has released some new IDE drives with 80GB per platter. . . A 320GB drive is going to be released soon, if not already. On a sour note, Maxtor has lowered their warranties from 3 years to 1 year.

I have a ABIT ST6 Raid MB with a 1,3 GHz celeron. Before the 1,3 I had a 900Mhz celeron. There is however a certain difference between those two beside speed. On the 900 I could notice when it was idle cos the cpufan had a lower pitch (noise), when it was not idle it had a higher pitch (the cpufan was spinning fast ...

Which 3rd party software can I under windows 2000 to change the static ip of a system on the fly easily. I have two ip addresses I need to use, but its slightly tedious to enter different gateways, sub net masks everytime I need to switch network.

I search the forum but I can't find related topic to this. Here's my test. I created a user profile in Win2K server (user1). Profile path is root:\users\username. Home is \\root\home\username. My problem is with the home drive assignment.

Receiving Phone Calls Through Headset

no one seems to be able to answer this. I want to hook my headset/microphone setup so that I can receiving calls through my 56k modem, like call centres do, except without having to put a headset in a phone itself.

tried searching, no help. . I got myself a Sapphire Radeon 9000 Atlantis video card with 128MB of RAM, and I installed it and booted up into Win XP, but for some reason, I can't get any drivers to work with it.

Last night I attempted to switch my desktop theme on WindowsXP to Windows Classic. Everything except for the icons went black and mouse. The text was black, the menus were black, the tooltip background color was black.
