I installed it using Dosbox, however, dosbox does not run it smoothly, so I tried running the game with VDMsound. Sound, videos, speech, and music all work fine, but the game crashes what seems to be randomly between transitions invloving the viewscreen.

Marginal success on this one...extracted the sttngins.zip file on the cd onto the hard drive to bypass the installation. CD-Rom emulation is enabled in VDMSound. Now, running the setup.exe from the folder on the hard drive, it is possible to setup the sound configuration and video configuration. Setting up the sound config results in values that correspond with the settings in VDMSound. After saving the settings and exiting the setup, upon running the game, there is no sound present, and the game proceeds to load through the intro movies and such, until it gets to the opening bridge scene, where the mouse appears trapped in a rectangular area in the upper left corner. Still working on this one....

Win2K, SP2, VDMSound 2.0.4, update 1, using a Logitech USB optical mouse, going to try a PS2 one though. Anyone having more success, your input would be appreciated.
