Can someone explain this to me?

XP is supposed to use CD-RW drives like Hard drives, right? If so, then I have a problem. .

If I understand it correctly, to burn stuff under XP you ifrst have to get the update for CD Writers from Windows Update (you have run Windows Update at least once since installing XP haven't you?) and then its a simple matter of just dragging the files you want to burn onto the icon for the CD Writer. As for burning the CD itself I wouldn't have a clue since my machine doesn't have a CD Writer and the only machine in the house that does can't run XP for love nor money (it only has 64Mb RAM).

Yes, as soon as I got connected the first thing I did was Windows update. I was trying to do it from the folders, and the options in them, but what you said is right.
