What OS are you running 2K or XP?
What service pack are you at?

SP3 is the latest for 2K and SP1 is the latest for XP.
What DirectX Version are you running?

When trying to Start IEXPLORE I get the following error.
“The application failed to initialize properly (0Xc0000005)”
· Try to remove and reinstall IEXPLORE; does not show up in the add/remove section of the control panel.
· IEXPLORE will run if you boot-up to SAFE MODE.
· Checked even viewer “EventID 26 “application failed to initialize properly (0Xc0000005)”
· OS=Windows 2K Server
· Check Microsoft; was not able to find any item that would help
