Hi guys,
On my father's computer he somehow had directed hyperlinks in emails using Outlook XP to be opened with Spybot. Originally it was asking what program to use to open the hyperlink and he selected something he trusted. I uninstalled spybot and removed the exe file for setup then tried to open a hyperlink. It asked me what to use so I directed it to Internet Explorer. It now opens them the way it should but it also opens another IE window with no information. It is like an about:blank page but it contains no information. There is nothing in the address line and File->Properties brings up nothing. He uses Lavasoft Ad-aware and Spybot to check for spyware and uses Trend Micro Internet Security for virus/firewall. Let me know a solution or if you need any additional information.
