Q3a Resolution in windows2000

This is a discussion about Q3a Resolution in windows2000 in the Windows Games category; Hi. I just reinstalled Q3a. . . and i am using the nvidia 3. 81 drivers When I get in the game, I start with 640 res. I switch to anything higher, and i get a program error. I ahve a creative labs tnt2, and using the newest point release for q3a (came out 3/21/00 i believe) Any help? BoDEAN.

You may try editing the cfg file and enter there the resolution you want. Do a search in the file for keywords such as width and height.

Go in the console and type "modelist", that'll give you a list of resolutions with numbers. Now edit the q3config.cfg (or create a new file autoexec.cfg, since I think q3config.cfg is overwritten when Q3 quits), look for "set mode X", and replace X by the number of the resolution you want.
 
BTW I have the same problem as you with the Q3Demo (TNT2U, 3.81).
