is anyone having problems with ms baseball 3d/2000? bb 3d works, but has no sound and bb2k says i have no sound card. i have a creatve sb 16 isa/pnp. i have no sound problems with other games. .

Motocross Madness 1 & Windows2K problems?

I have Windows 2000 Official Release & I have Voodoo2 card installed. I got the drivers from here. When I installed my Motocross Madness 1 game & tryed to play it I can play it no problem but what happens is my screen is about 1 inch to the right & I can not figure out how to center it.

I have read all the topics on UT I could find, but I dont think that any off them covered my problem: Whenever I fire a grenade (secondary fire with the Rocket Launcher) I don't see smoke instead I see black sqaures aorund the greande.

Just tried the latest drivers and my first test was off to UT I have a TNT1, Celery oc'ed to 375, 196 megs, Final build of 2k. At certain parts of the game when I'm looking at too many objects or some effect (I'm not sure what, I cannot pinpoint it) everything slows down to something that seems like 1fps if I'm luc ...

Why are my games running SO much slower under Win2000?!?

Hi, I've just installed Win2000 (dual boot with Win98SE) and everything runs *so much* slower under win2K. . . 3DMark runs slow & crashes all the time, unreal crawls compared to WIN98SE - 2D applications as well.

Anyone got this game to work in Win2K? It is asking for a file called mss32. dll which is no where on my win2K drive. I had one on my Win98 drive and copied it to my Blood2 directory. After that the next error was related to cshell.

cant get full screen mode in UT

I just got a Diamond Viper 770 TNT2 Ultra, but the thing is that i play Unreal Tourn in full screen mode!. . also when i tell unreal to detect my card, it select Glide as the best driver. . . how come? ( i used to have a voodoo2 on the system ).

I can install the game under W2K but at final stage, it has a error message that hardware can not detect and i have to exit setup, anyone have similiar problem, any fix?

The Sims - Crash without any Message

I installed The Sims with no Problem under Windows 2K RC2. After a while of playing, it returns to my desktop without any message. When I look in the Event Viewer, there's the following Message: Error 7 \Device\Cdrom0 Bad block at XXXXXXXX What does this mean? Is the CD broken? I've got a CD-Rom and a DVD-ROM.

UT runs fine for me on 2183 (yes I know I should update) But when I play net games it's unplayable. At first I thought it was my connection but I shut down to 98 and it was fine. The game is totally lagged.

I looked under the compatibility guide on this site, and it shows that Kings Quest 8 works, but some problems exist in loading games. However i cannot even start a new game. I am running Win 2000 ver 5.

Rogue Spear in Windows 2000

I installed WINDOWS 2000 over Windows 98 (Upgraded) and everything works great. EXCEPT Rogue Spear. I have Voodoo 3 with Win 2000 drivers, 128 MB Ram, PIII with ABIT Motherboard. I get the game to run, but it runs REAL slow.

Hello, I have a dual processor system ready for Win2K when it comes out. I will make Win2K my main OS. I'm having a hard time deciding which file format to use. Can anyone comment on running games and such using NTFS.

Homeworld problem with latest Nvidia drivers

Okay, problem is that Homeworld refuses to use OpenGL, when I'm sure I've had it working before. It works through Direct3D on the 3. 75 and 3. 76 drivers, but refuses to accept OpenGL. version of the game is 1.
