Mouse still sticks!

I know this has been posted before but there has never been a sure fire fix for the problem of the sticky mouse. I never had any problems with the Beta drivers for my Voodoo3 2000 video card but I figured I would give the new Official drivers a try.

HalfLife A3D sound under Win2k fix.

I have been using A3D under Win2k in Half-life and Counterstrike by replacing the a3dapi. dll in the halflife directory with the same file from the winnt system directory. Be warned though. Some sounds aren't quite right.

Possible Windows 2000 Refresh Rate fix?

Keys STILL sticking!

Halflife Win 2000

I run windows 2000 and a Stealth III 540 PCI I installed Halflife and attempted to use 800x600 & 640x480 in D3D mode. . However it's terribly choppy. Why is this? The drivers i'm using are the ones Win 2000 installed.

I dont know, I have been hearing alot about this windows millenium and its release in late may, I just read it on win2k box , site. I just dont get it, there saying win 2000 pro is srictly for business and millenium is for the individual or in my opinion the home user, others are calling it the gaming operating system.

Q3A refreshrate fix

Try this to change Q3A refreshrate under Windows 2000. It works for me using NVidia 3. 78 drivers and Q3A 1. 16h. Go to console and enter: r_displayRefresh 85 //If you want 85Hz refresh f. e. vid_restart //restarts the GL renderer If you want this to be done when you start Q3A, then create a autoexec.

I have P3-500, 128MB, Voodoo3 2000 (OC'd to 175MHz), Win2K, and Diamond MX300. BZ2 runs for me for like 3 mins starting from the first mission and then when it gets to a certain point, teh game crashes with a address violation.
