Battlezone 2 Win2K Possible fix ?

I've got a Geforce and have found that you get better stability if you set AGP to 1x and switch out sideband addressing and fast writes, this increases disk accessing but this can be reduced by lowering the resolution and effects.

Earth 2150 Demo

I don't belive it's officially available yet, but the earth 2150 demo can be downloaded from a few websites. If you haven't tried it yet, it's an AMAZING game. Anyways, The game works fine in glide fine, EXCEPT when I play as Lunar Colony or United Central States.

Another Q3 Problem

I've been having a minor problem with Quake 3: After playing for about 10 minutes or so, the game will lock up and the only way to get out is to hit the reset button. I have a P-III 500, 192m Ram, 20gb WD hard drive (ATA/66), Diamond Monster II 3D (Voodoo2 chipset), ATI Xpert@play 98, using W2K 2195 Pro Final.

Liveware 2000 and UT?

Anyone notice the sound, it sounds like ****?since i put that liveware 2000 on, the sound is all distored when people are firing at me. Anyone else notice this? BoDEAN.

Win2k and Unreal Tournament

I have this problem with UT. I just switched to TNT2, and after some problems I got it to work. But now it suddenly it uses ALOT of system memory, my pagefile grows 100 mb. Now my HD is constantly work to swap all that memory.

Half-life freezes on NT4

Whenever I try to switch to Fullscreen on Halflife regardless if it is software or OPENGL or using the MiniGL the screen will go black. The only thing left to do is reboot (which ticks me off). I managed to make it run _once_ at 640x480 and it worked perfectly but when I switched back to the menu an tried to switch ...

MSN Zone doesnt work

Running win2k trying to play Age of Empires 2 online with zone. . . . well, i get into the multiplayer part, and then teh zone boots me. Someone told me I need directx 7. 01. . . . not sure though.

NFS4 Works, but.......

NFS4 seems to work fine on my Win2K setup. All I did was update it to the latest patch (4. 52 I think). Only problem is when I launch it I alway get a message that there is less than 1 MB disk space.

Roller Coaster Tycoon and Win2000

I love Roller Coaster Tycoon, and it runs fine in Windows 2000 Final 2195. . . . . . . except for. . . . . . . . . YOU CAN'T SAVE AND LOAD GAMES! When you try, you are kicked back to the desktop and the game ends! If anybody has any ideas what's goin on, and how it can be fixed (if it can), i would appreciate the info.

Quake 3 and framerates!!!!!

Hello to all, Well I noticed on here that everyone was saying Q3 was noticably slower under W2K then it was under W98 and I too looked into this and found that I also dropped about 3-5fps myself. I did some experimentation with the GL drivers both from W2K and the latest V3 Retail drivers.

I can't update Opposing Force, because when I try to update, I get the error message: Half-Life Opposing Force is not installed on the system. But I have installed it several times, and with the same error-message.

Gaming at 700MHz

Hey, folks, I have a general question for you. . . I've been running Win2K Pro. on a 300MHz PII the last coupla weeks and, understandably, most of my games don't run as well (in terms of speed jerky frames 'n' whatnot) as they did under Win98/Win98SE.
