Anyone get a vesa mode display going on 2000? i can run Zsnes in modex or anything other than vesa, but i want transparancies and all the goodies that come with vesa mode. anyone have any answers? suggestions?.

Has MS bothered to fix the "sticky keys" on W2k?

There has been lots of talk about the sticky keys problem with some games on W2k. . . has Microsoft (or anyone else) provided any solution? Some problems appear to be PS/2 mouse related but that doesn't seem to be the case with Rally Championship 2000.

Can Anyone Play The last Revelation Higher Than 640x480 !

Has anybody managed to get Tomb Raider the Last Revelation to play higer than 640x480 without windows saying this Program has generated errors and. . . . apart from Windowed mode in the game setup !!!! D3D Gamma is way to dark in Shogo under W2K

smp Q3 problems. can you help?

Hello, Im having trouble getting smp to work with Q3. I crash at random times when i load Q3. Im running a bp6 mobo with 2 Celery 366's oc'd to 550 with a geforce ddr. I've tried running my cpus at there default speed, messed around with different settings of agp aperature.

Fifa 2000 under win2k

The fifa 2000 game is protected by safedisk and that's the problem (I think), the gamecode will work but not the protection system, so it says that its the wrong cd all the time, can I fix this. Anyone knowes? The Mag.

Will Games Overwrite?

I was wondering, I have Quake 3 Arena installed in 98, I want to install Q3a in 2000 in the same directory as my q3a folder in win98? Or does it overwrite it? This is a dual boot btw. .

Problem wtih refresh rate?

hi, sry, my englis is bad, but anyway. My question is: Anytime when I run some games, why refresh rate alway drops? Exaple: (quake2/3, Rally Chamiponchip 2000 etc. ) My windows desktop: 1152x864, 32 bit @85 Hz, but when I run some game, the monitor refresh alway drops at 75Hz.

Dirt Track Racing.....have fun with this one

Alright here goes. I currently run Windows2000 Pro and with my TNT2U I can't use Direct3D. The game I play all of the time is Dirt Track Racing by Ratbag. At first I said no biggy I'll wait for new drivers, but as we all know that didn't help.

nvidia + SoF demo solution

So, I've been trying to figure this out for more than 2 months now and finally Raven figured out a solution. The problem lies with the user account you are using and it's type. Any administrator account will cause problems with the SoF demo and most nvidia driver versions, including the recent release candidate.
