IDE Busmastering for VIA is the PROBLEM!!!

Well I have posted several topics here about my data corruption and loss of operating systems. I have a Fujitsu and Western Digital ATA66 drive, the VIA Busmastering Drivers, when I load these the system goes to hell, cant get into windows without locking up.

Hi. . . My StarCraft don't run. . . After of the install the windows says. . . Don't find a archive on the CD. . . I catch a file on net, the files fix it, but don't work on Win2k what i had to do? (I know my english sux).

New MS Compatibility patch....

I was overjoyed reading about MS releasing a new comptibility patch with added game support. So i immediately installed it. After install i try firing up Half-Life and i get the msg HL can only be run in 16 bit colour mode, change your desktop accordingly.

Ok, I am not going to ask if the Voodoo2 works with D3D or anything like that. All I want is it to play Half-Life in Win2k. . . maybe Quake3. It can use OpenGL, GLIDE, or some sort of Voodoo Magic (pun intended).

Fifa 2000 with Windows 2000

Hi There; I have Windows 2000 installed on my Computer now. And i installed Fifa 2000 with no Problems at all. But when i run the game i get an error that this Program has performed an Illeagel operation and will now termintae and the game never starts.

I know on the main site it says that Silver was working under Windows 2000, I cant currently get it to load it starts loading then just cuts out If anyones been able to get it to work id like to know.

JN6 is listed as not being compatible with W2K and I was wondering who to contact about information regarding any future plans to make it compatible. Is it up to the developer of the game or MS? Would really like to get this game running with 2K.

Just installed win2k dx8 beta. At first it DID NOT fix the problem. Upon closer examination through dxdiag I noticed that many of the dx files were not being replaced, such as dsound. dll and dinput.

Quake 3 and Need For Speed 5 are so so Crazy

Hey Guys, I have windows 2000 installed on my Computer. and i have Both Quake 3 and NFS5. NFS5 was working perfectly and it was even so much faster than when i ran it on Win98. But Quake 3 wasnt Running at all cos of the OPENGL drivers.

strange problem in UT

thankfully I don't have any sticky key problems in Unreal Tournament, (Rogue Spear is my only game with that issue), but I do have another problem. After playing single player for about 15 minutes, UT starts choking, dropping to 3-4 fps instead of my normal 25-30 fps.

Hi!It's known that quake 3 for win2k needs open gl drivers. My graphics blaster Tnt card drivers for win2k don't work with the game(these are the latest drivers that creative posted on their site). Nor did the nvidia's drivers.
