I cannot get Battlezone2 to run under Win2k. It installs goes into the menus but when you go to start the game, it crashes back to windows. It is the already 1. 1 Updated version, and no new patch from Activision.

Quake 3 in SMP mode

System specs: Dual PIII 500's Tyan Tiger 133 256 MB Ram CL Anihilator Pro (DDR) I love win2k. This is O. S. is by far the best that Microshaft has put out in my opinion. The only small problem I have is that Q3 won't load if I turn on SMP in the game.

Can't get Septerra Core patch 1.02 with win2k sp1 to work

Ok, when I first installed septerra core and ran it, per scene a character would speak their text, and the game would sit there. . . not locked up, but wouldn't proceed to the next characters dialogue.

Hi all, I've managed to install NFS4 High Stakes onto my Windows 2000 machine (with SP1) which is as follows Celeron 300A @ 450 128MB RAM 15GB Hard Drive (NTFS Formatted) Voodoo3 3000 AGP Diamond MX300 Sound Card Yet when I try to run it I get a message saying the game data is corrupt and to reinstall the game.

When I run Unreal Tournament with the latest patch, I get the error: The instruction at 0x0040986d referenced memory at 0x4196c4ed. The memory could not be read. Any ideas?.

I swear, this worked for me soo well! I am using a 950mhz athlon w/ a leadtek winfast geforce. . . anyways, just go to the main diablo folder and go to the 'vidtest' file. . switch from DIRECT3d/(X) to DirectDraw.

But when i start a championship or the LeMans-Mode , there is a problem: Bevor the race start (bevor i see the black-white-flag) the game goes back to win2000! This is really weird. . . I can start up a LAN game, join, play all I want, but if I attempt to join a network game, I either lock up, or get messages back saying that it is unable to parse server messages.

I just installed Rollercoaster Tycoon on W2K Professional and it crashes whenever I try to do something on the very first screen (start new game, load game, tutorial, exit). I ran the demo and it worked just fine.

Fifa 2000 works!

On a whim, I re-ran Fifa 2000 on my Win2K Pro system after a long hiatus and, to my astonishment, it worked. I have a BX board with a TNT2 and an SBLive!. 5. 32 Detonator drivers. Live!Ware 3. Vanilla Win2K Pro with all the Windows Update patches, no SP1.

OpenGL Games under w2k = only 60Hz !

Is it possible to get a higher monitor refresh rate under w2k when running games like quake 3 arena with a NVidia TNT card using the detonator2 ? I have only 60 Hz. In D3D games it is possible to all refreshrates i want with the D3D overwrite feature.
