Overclocking GeForce - for what?

A question I always wanted to ask (when I was not online ) is what you get in the term of FPS increase by overclocking your GeForce DDR. I remember having read an article saying benefits would be nearly unnoticeable.

FreeSpeed athalon over clocker!

Has anyone bought and use that freespeed daughter board that goes on the athalon chip for overclocking? my question to you guys is, was it worth it? did it rise the temp of the athalon to much? and were a lot of fans needed to help cool more? How far did you get your mhz up to.

Is it just the 5. 13 drivers on my TNT2U, or am I just forgetting something. When I use PowerDVD 2. 55, I can't keep the window playing the movie up front (always on top). I don't remember having this problem in earlier NVidia drivers.

I Have AHA-2940 SCSI Card ,Teac 532S Cd-rom and Teac 56S/450 CD-R I try to setup Win2000 pro from Cd-rom but it appear Can't open. . . . Code 4 I already setted SCSI bios can boot from scsi cd-rom and I can boot DOS's OS from this CD-Rom.

When I try to burn a cd with easy cd creator 4. 02 or cdr win 3. 8a , the cd is burned correctly but when I try to read the cd, win say that the cd-rom is empty. .

NVidia drivers and Monitor powerdown

I recently redid my installation of Win2k Pro, and when I installed my NVidia drivers, I lost the ability to choose my monitor type, and as a result, it will not power down. Is there any way other than a 3rd-party program (which I've tried and didnt work) to get this to work correctly?.

I have an old monitor that runs very dark. I can correct this in WIN98. In the advanced section of the display settings gamma and brightness can be changed for a TNT. Do any of the new TNT drivers support this option in WIN2000?.

just wondering what the best dual mobo would be for gaming on a win2k/98 setup. . . I want to put dual PIII 650's and many of the places I am looking seem to have little info on dual mobo in regards to performance and compatibility.

Does anyone have a Biostar m7mka mother board. If so, were you able to run anything in udma mode, or actualy able to install winodws 2000! I cannot install windows 2000, i had to put my hardrive in my friends computer to do it.

Does your DVDROM report the correct disk size?

Does your DVDROM report the correct disk size? Although fully playable, my DVDROM seems to report the wrong disk size/file size in Windows 2000. A full 8 Gb DVD is reported as 2. 1 Gb only. Definitely report the correct size in Windows 98.

I just installed the Win2k drivers from Nvidia's site, but Unreal Tournament won't run in either D3D or OpenGL on my TNT. Are there newer, better drivers than the ones that are posted on their website? If so, where can I get them? -Mike.

Problems with a 3dfx Desktop TV/FM Under Windows 2000

I have a 3dfx Desktop TV/FM Card and Windows 2000. It seems that 3dfx hasn't supported it for win2k, and I can't find any drivers that allow it to work.
