P2B-D Hardware rework

I have the Asus P2B-D Motherboard. I have to contact Asus to do a hardware rework. But I have no adresse or phone number from asus-france (I live in France). The Alternate solution involves removing ACPI drivers and installing APM drivers instead.

Remote Storage File

I'm getting the infamous at least one service or driver failed on startup I check the registry and I think it is The Remote Storage File Hung On Startup anyone know how to fix this?? TIA Kim

Saitek R4 Force wheel - help!

I'm running Win2K and cannot get my FF Wheel configured. Saitek say it cant be done because it's using Microsoft FF and not Siedwinder technology - they will not be developing a driver, damn! The wheel will not be configured as a generic wheel - I tried.

Webcam III USB Problems

Whenever I try to install the webcam, using the unofficial drivers from OVT at the Creative website, it always blue screens when the drivers are installing? Does anyone have any solutions? Any help is appreciated.

Soyo SY-5EMA+ & Win2000

Does anyone know of any drivers/fixes that will get USB on a SY-5EMA+ Soyo mobo working under Win2000? Via (chipset manfufacturer) and Soyo has no updated drivers at this time. . . . any other solutions? -necfg.

Printing problems...

Under Win2K (using the HP's drivers)my HP Deskjet 840C prints only if the quality setting is at draft (worst quality, fast), any other setting and the printer rolls out a blank page. Under Win98 the printer has no problems at all.

I am intensively searching for the fastest available graphic card with nVidia's Geforce2 GTS. I saw a great one at ! It is overclockable up to 240Mhz core speed! But is there any faster card?.

Help with Win2K and TNT 770 Ultra

Well, I made the mistake of applying the compatibility upgrade to Win 2K and I lost all 3d in my games. I am not sure that this is the reason that I lost 3d, but the timing is perfect. Now all games either state that no 3d hardware is found, or they run in software rendered mode.

AGP 2x, why can't I get it??

Hello People, Running a Matrox G400 MAX on a ABit BE6-II Mobo. Both the video card & Mobo are quite capable of running in AGP 2x mode. Ran PowerStrip. It reports that I'm running in 1x mode. Try to make the change here, warns me, I do it, hard lock.

What Bus Speeds does the ABIT BE6-2 Support?

I am thinking of getting one of these suckers to do some serious overclocking. I have a celeron 433 now running at 541 (83 Mhz bus) on a BE6. Problem is next bus speed up is 100 Mhz and it will not make that jump.
