BP6 Geforce 2 and AGP 2x

I can't get any 3d games to work at AGP 2X without crashing same with Win98 any ideas? AGP 1x ok with all 3d games AGP 2X ok only with 2d applications. .

PCI problem with win2k, please help!

OK, i just installed a clean win2k install and had to do that with out any PCI card inserted on my mobo, just my GF AGP card. Install worked superb and i updated win2k with windows update. But when i insert one PCI card onto my mobo, win2k want start anymore, it locks at startup.

I read on this page that ATI TV WONDER PCI works in Windows 2000 with some litlle hacks but there are no detailed instructions how to do that. . . . I would be very happy if someone could help me? Borut borut.

ALi 1541/1543 IDE failures and long timeouts...

Okay I got a cheap motherboard (I really needed one cheap and fast) It's got the IDE chipset ALi 1541/1543 (1541 is more likely since LiNUX reports this) At the Windows 2K startup, there's an infamous timout (about 30-45 seconds) caused by the IDE when I'm activating DMA mode.

Annihilator 2 Problems. PLEASE HELP

I just bought an Annihilator 2. But my FPS in Q3 are really low. At 640x480 with the fastest setting I am only getting 75FPS. According to all the reviews, I should be getting mid to high 90's. I have an Athlon 800, Abit KA7, 128MB.

For everyone using a motherboard with a VIA chipset: go to and download the new All-In-One v4. 22 driver and the AGP patch. It makes almost all games happy in Win2000 (almost). It definately solves crashes and wierd graphics.

strange things happening in W2K

i would like to share my experience with win2k. i'm running AMD K6-II@350 MHz with 64 MB RAM, RIVA TNT, sound Creative PCI 128, MB ASUS P5A (latest BIOS), and PLANET ENW8300 network adapter. w2k is installed in ACPI mode.

I recently got a voodoo5 to replace my Leadtek Geforce DDR. I installed everything (win2k drivers etc) and at the last screen Found New Hardware Screen it says This device encountered a problem. The specified file was not found.

no video

i have a problem with getting a pc started. . i've put together this system and there is no video. . I sent one mother board back for the same reason. . I've tried putting 3 different video cards in and tried 2 different monitors and different memory sticks to see why i wasn't getting no screen on my monitor.

System randomly reboot under Win2K

Has anyone managed to get this working properally yet? The forums are full of issues wilth this game and Win 2K, I can't get the game to run past Marsh part 2 - it creashes with: 'The instruction at 0x0046687c referenced memory at 0x0f2838c8.

I have win 2000 and my PCI controler has a ? on it. It says that i need top update the drivers for this. I also notice that my modem is completly undetected. I think i need to d/l drivers for my modem and this will fix the PCI prob to.
