ok when i select a dial up connection using the path start->setting->network. . ->connection absolutely nothing happens the same if i go through the control panel. But if ie tries to dial it works fine until.

I really need some drivers for Windows 95/98 for the iomega buz drive. I know that that's not NT/2000 related, but I do have a little brother who can't handle the power of the beast. But anyway, my OLDER brother went back to college and I accidently left the Buz CD in his DVD player.

Hollywood Plus Win2k drivers on CL Dxr3

I was just wondering if anyone has tried the newly released Hollywood Plus Win2k drivers with Creative Labs Dxr3 for their DVD 6x. I tried CL's beta drivers but I don't get any audio. Otherwise they do work.

Onboard grafic card for second Monitor ?

I have an ASUS CUSL2 board with some onboard gafic chip. I use my GeForce but wonder If I can use the onboard grafic card to connect a second screen to my PC but there's no other grafic card listed in the device manager than my GeForce ?! Is there a way to get them to work both at the same time ?.

how to make a drive removeable in Win2K

In 98, or ME you can go to drive properties and tick the drive as removeable. I have hard drives in hot swappable caddies -if I go to add remove hardware in Win2k, there is no option for making a drive removeable.

Anyone else got problems with the Abit BH6 SS bios?

Since i flashed my Bios Win2k has been acting up. Now everything crashes, When it boots up, i get nothing but a Blank screen. In Task manager it shows Rundll at 99% usage. When i close this Windows continues and boots up.

STB Velocity 128 + Win 2K Pro

I have a problem with the STB Velocity 128 (NVidia 128 ZX) and Windows 2000. When I install Windows 2000, the controlpanel said, it is not able to start the video adapter. Anyone an idea ? Thanks in advance.

I've got 2 x DM+40's connected to a Promise U66 (not mod-ed) under a Win2K Pro system. All I need to know is how do I get the HDD's to power down after a certain amount of time? Works fine under W98 but they constantly spin under W2K.

just a query, does anyone have this motherboard working in win2k, and have valid temperature reporting functioning in windows 2000? the bios reports the cpu at around 40 ©, in windows it jumps, often wildly, between 30 and 45.

The creative Annihilator2 has two black rows of connectors. Elsa sells a Video In/Out adapter for its geforce which also has the same connector. Think it is possible to use it on the creative card, or are there any other options for Video IN/OUT under 50$?.

WIN2K, SBLIVE and Hauppauge WINTV

I`ve got a problem with my SBLIVE Card and its LINE IN. I've connected the HAUPPAUGE WINTV RADIO to it, but I only get sound from the rear OR the front speakers. When I play games like Diablo 2 or attach the cable to the mic in, both pair of speakers work fine.

Hey, Tomorrow(Monday the 28th), I'm going out to buy myself a Socket 370 CPU I have to decide between a CuMine 800(100mhz FSB), CuMine 800(133mhz FSB), or a Celeron2 600(66mhz FSB) which I'll try to overclock to 100FSB(making it 900mhz).

Device Manager Code 31?

Recently I've installed W2K service pack 1 on my machine. Now both the DVD and CDRW are inaccessable, and show an yellow exlamation point in the device manager (Code 31). The DVD and CDRW are on the second IDE channel; master & slave respectively.
