Primax Colorado USB 19200 Scanner

Has anyone been able to make this scanner work in Windows 2000? Primax claims they are making Windows 2000 drivers, buy who knows when those will be released. Like a lot of other hardware manufacturers, it seems that they want to wait until after Windows 2000 is release to START working on drives.

Voo2 New Driver D3d problem - Help

Installed the new drivers for D3d under W2k. Problem! D3d does not want to work. . . When I run dxdiag I get: Error: Problem getting extra display info, result code = 0x88760231(unknown error) My V2 card is listed as Display 2 and looks fine in Device Manager.

Currently running a Matrox G400SH. Excellent image quality. . . but. . . Matrox doesn't always write the greatest drivers (application and system issues). I've read independent reviews that the image quality of Elsa's GeForce card is the best, along with excellent drivers.

Need help with Com-Ports-Problem under Win2k pro

Since I installed win2k, it doesn't recognize my Com-Ports properly. I already tried to reassign resources and switched PnP OS installed to yes, but it didn't help. Win just says the Coms wouldn't work and should be replaced.

Voodoo3 DVD Hardware Assist ???

As stated at the 3dfx website the Voodoo3 offers full 30 fps MPEG-2 Playback with no dropped frames, and Soft DVD support for all major CODECs. I have the Voodoo3 2000 PCI card and was wondering if this meant that I could use it to decode DVD movies or at least assist in the decoding? I do not own a decoder card btw.

I have checked into the MS Knowledge base on these and lurked about for a while to see if anyone else had the same problems. . . ABIT BP6, Celery 400x2 no OC'ed yet 128MB PC100, Viper 770 TNT2, MX300, Matsu CW-7582 CDR, Realtek 8029 Net Card, Advanced Server(Build 2195), QQ-2 Bios Update, ACPI MPS Kernel.

whats the point of win2k if you cant run programs without getting **** has generated errors and will be closed and waiting decades for 3dfx to release drivers or buy another monitor if you dont have one and having to buy another sound card.

trouble with SBLive in win2000

Whenever I try to update the drivers, I always get the same error message, something like error, section not found in INF or something like that. This happened with the Dell Drivers, and also with the default driver in the WINNT folder, as well as the universal INF posted here.

I have just started the process of obtaining MCSE certification, and just istalled NT 4. 0 on my one system to help study. So i'm new to the NT world but not so green to computers. I'm trying to get my Guillemot 3D Prophet SDRAM to install with no luck.

USB to Ethernet w/ Win2k

Hello, I am trying to use my ADS USB to Ethernet card on Windows 2000 Pro. and when I put the drivers in I get an error message saying The INF file did not match the once it expected. I tried the drivers that came with it, and the new ones (acually old) that were on the site.
