how do i remove this, Everyone take a look please.

Ok here is my problem. I my friend tried to install whistler on my machine and the setup it just like that of windows 2000. I have problems installin winodws 2000 on my computer so i had to quit the install at the setuping up hardware blue dos like screen.

Adobe GoLive 4.01 and Win2K

Howdy, Anyone else having trouble getting GoLive 4. 01 to run under Win2K? I couldn't find specific OS notes on the Adobe site stating that it wasn't compatible with Windows 2000. Before I buy GoLive 5.

SR1 install prob with language support

OK. I have the final W2K French version installed. When I try to install SR1, it gives me a message something like Incorrect language. . . and gives up. One of the first lines of setup *. inf file is a line looking like %LanguageVersionString%, like an environnment variable the installer is waiting for.

Sybex E-Trainers - Sound Issue

In talking with Sybex, their e-trainer programs for A+ and Network+ are currently written using 8bit sound. Seems that the Win2000 drivers don't support this well/at all. Anyone have a work-around? Current system: Gateway G6-400 w/ Intel PIII 550mz, onboard Creative Labs/Ensoniq AudioPCI chip 1371.

multimedia apps working on 2K vs NT

are there any 3d apps/multimedia apps that require directX higher than the version available on NT ? Is there a reason uppgrading to W2K if I know I will be running a lot of 3d tools, dev tools, multimedia apps in the future?? appr.

same old nt trouble

2 weeks ago i was trying to get this solved and i'm still stuck. I loaded nt 4. 0. I tried to load aol 5. 0. from the cd. It would only load 3. 0. I tried to load service pack 3(nt said it at least required this).

Win2k, DUN, and a few programs

Hello, DUN has been working fairly well in Win2k for me. Outlook Express, IE 5. 01, and a few other net programs launch a connection just fine. But, Microsoft Messenger, Everquest (online game), and WS FTP Pro will not launch a dialup connection.

DirectCD 3.01 and McAfee 4.5

DirectCD 3. 01 and McAfee 4. 5 are not compatible in Win2K Pro. System reboots on startup as soon as DirectCD attempts to load. Norton Anti-Virus solves the problem. Looking for a way to make it work with McAfee.

In need to restore the cd player associations

Thanks Creative crappy software, anyways it was to small the cd/media/player, the recorder, the mixer, too much tiny stuff here. When you uninstall the great stuff it does leave your cdplayer mixed with and attack of I dont handle this and the media player (windows media player) pops up and says the same joke.

Win2k continuously restart

Can anyone help. . . for some reason after restarting my computer yesterday. . My win2k will boot to login screen and then restart it self automatically. . It a continuously restart loop. I even tried using F8 and using safe mode and it does the same thing.
