shut down problem with 98se

i have win2k and 98 se dual boot for about 2 weeks now, out of no where windows 98 wont shut down no more it will hang on the shut down screen but it lets me restart fine?

Connection Icon not in system tray

I used to have a connection icon at the system tray but now its gone every time i made a connection to my ISP. I dont know if i done something in my system. What should i do? I used the default of win2k dialer!.

Office 2000 won't install sp1

Hi. Office 2k sp1 just repeatedly prompts for my office 2k cd even though it's in the cd drive. Anyone got or heard of a patch (read 'crack') for this?.

ummm. . . dis pisses me off i cant watch videos in any mode rather than 100% in any player Do u think it could be a codex problem? I know it isn't the video card , driver but i'm not sure why it happened a while ago.

I read on the Microsoft website that Windows Media Services, available in W2K Server and Advanced Server, allow for webcam use. Logitech sucks ass, and haven't released their software for W2K like they said they would.

ello! I have tried to install Personal Web Server v4. 0 off my Win98 disc but it won't install it says that teh installer need Win95 to work. Can I get this to work in Win2k? or is there some kinda fix to this? or a better way of hosting webpages in Win2k prof? Thanks Dave.

Help Carbon Copy 32 in win2k!

Ive just installed my carbon copy 32 V5. 0 in my machine. but when I configure to connect to my remote machine in dialup network, it says that Dial-up Networking is not installed on your system. To use this feature, you must install the Dial-up networking component shipped with windows.

Dual boot help needed plz

Can u tell me how to dual boot my system??, i just tryed it by using win98 startup disk since win98 wont install thru win2k or boot up. So i tryed to use dos to install it, but it tryed to install it in c: drive and i want it installed to my I: drive since that is my spare drive.

Dialup Connection Icon in System Tray

I am using NetZero as my dialup and one of the settings for the properties for the connection is to show the system tray icon. I like having it on so I can see when I am sending and receiving data. error in virtual memory- PLZ HELP!

Since a copuple of days i everytime get the followin message: windows - virtual memory minimum too low - windows is increasing the size of you virtual memory paging file. during this process memory requests for some applications may be denied.

Flash Player 4 in W2k Problem

I can't get the Macromedia Flash player version 4 to install in IE5 under W2k. It will install the Shockwave 8 plugin but simply refuses to continue and load Flash! Anyone else have this problem and how did you fix it?.

When I am going to play Lemmings Revolution, I am comming in to the game but, the main meny buttons are all colorful, i can't see what i standing there, and the mouse i laggy. I found my way inn to the game, the maps is totaly screwed up.
