Accelenation has posted a round-up of eleven heatsinks including the new Thermalright SK-6 and Millennium Glaciator.
I am going to be brief - testing heatsinks is tough. It’s a lot tougher than I am sure many of you might think. The variables you need to deal with on an instantaneous basis are immeasurable. Because of this I will say right from the top - if you were to test all eleven of the heatsinks I am going to, your results WILL vary. I am just trying to give you an idea of how they will perform RELATIVE to one another. My testing procedure is one that seems to be agreed on as the best way to keep outside influences to a minimum. I will go over it in detail in the next section. This roundup was actually supposed to take place a while ago, but I have been working very hard to keep the testing as standardized as possible.Read more
