Microsoft has released both Windows 11 Builds 22621.3807 and 22631.3807 (KB5039302) to Windows Insiders in the Release Preview Channel. A pinned Copilot experience, a Game Pass suggestion card on the Settings home page, a default display desktop button, support for Emoji 15.1, and better functionality in File Explorer are some of the enhancements included in the update.

Upgrades to Windows Share copying, new emojis, and OneDrive as a RemoteApp in Azure Virtual Desktop are all part of this update. In addition to fixing problems with GPUs, Group Policy, and Storage Spaces Direct, this version also fixes audio distortions in the Snipping Tool and fixes deadlocks in Azure Virtual Desktop sessions. It also updates the profiles for Country and Operator Settings.

Microsoft has released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26120.751 to Windows Insiders on the Dev Channel.

The update contains general enhancements and fixes for Insiders running the build on their computers. The Copilot experience on Windows is developing to be pinned to the taskbar, allowing users to resize, move, and snap windows. The WIN + C keyboard shortcut will be removed for new devices that include a Copilot key, but the WIN + number position for Copilot pinned to the taskbar is now available. A new Linked Devices tab will be added to Settings > Accounts to manage PCs and Xbox consoles signed in with a Microsoft account.

Microsoft has released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26227 to Windows Insiders in the Canary Channel.

Microsoft has released Windows 11 KB5037853 (OS Builds 22621.3672 and 22631.3672) Preview for both Windows 11 22H2 and Windows 11 23H2.

This version includes various changes to Windows, such as a feature that prevents the Windows share window from being accidentally closed, the ability to drag files across breadcrumbs in the File Explorer address bar, and the addition of a page named Linked devices in Settings > Accounts. It also adds a new account manager to the Start menu, which allows users to change their account settings. The Windows share window allows users to create quick response (QR) codes for webpage URLs and cloud files, and Windows will back up numerous sound settings if they click the Personalization and Other Windows settings checkboxes.

Microsoft has released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22635.3646 to Windows Insiders in the beta channel. The update includes fixes for PC Manager in China, addressing issues with File Explorer, TWAIN drivers, File Explorer, smart card icon display, folder context menu, Antimalware Scan Interface (AMSI), and more.

Windows 11, version 24H2 (Build 26100.712), Microsoft's yearly Windows 11 feature update for this year, is now available in the Release Preview Channel for customers to test before it is released to the general public later this calendar year. Some of the new features in the most recent edition include support for high dynamic range (HDR) backdrops, an energy saver, Sudo for Windows, Rust in the Windows kernel, Wi-Fi 7, and voice clarity.

File Explorer has been improved in the Beta Channel, with support for 7-zip and TAR archives, as well as a new compression wizard and Emoji 15.1. The new emojis are: head shaking, phoenix, lime, brown mushroom, and broken chain. Additionally, Unicode has restored family combinations to symbol-like shapes, although Windows has maintained the previous design. Windows Share now supports file copying, General corrected a persistent sign-in dialog issue in Europe, Taskbar auto-hide resolved a search box issue, and File Explorer resolved an unexpected address bar dropdown.

Microsoft has rolled out Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26212 to Windows Insiders via the Canary Channel. This release includes new functionality for Windows Share and Copilot in Windows. Users may now generate QR codes for URLs and cloud file links from the Windows share pane, enabling for easy sharing of webpages and files. To close the window, users can utilize the close button. Gmail addresses can also be transmitted via the Windows share window to the user's Gmail account. These updates are based on user feedback and will continue to evolve.

The development channel has seen upgrades and fixes for insiders who are using the build on their PCs. The update offers general improvements and updates for Copilot in Windows, which Windows Insiders tested on the Canary, Dev, and Beta Channels. The rollout of these experiences has been paused to allow for user feedback. In addition, a fix has been issued for an issue that caused Copilot to open unexpectedly for Windows Insiders after restarting their PCs.

Microsoft has released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22635.3570 to Windows Insiders in the beta channel. The Beta Channel is gradually releasing updates to File Explorer, such as the ability to duplicate a tab by right-clicking on it. These enhancements include memory leak fixes, difficulties with File Explorer stability, and address bar dropdowns that appear unexpectedly. Task Manager has also been modified to increase DDR speed, performance, accessibility, and resizing capabilities. Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22635.3566 (KB5037002) has been issued to Windows Insiders in the Beta Channel, bringing enhancements and fixes. The update introduces a new "show desktop" button, which can be controlled by right-clicking the taskbar and selecting "Taskbar settings." The File Explorer Address Bar has been upgraded to support drag-and-dropping files. The update also addresses issues with the taskbar and lock screen widgets, resulting in more stable and high-quality icons. Microsoft has released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26200 to Windows Insiders in the Canary Channel.

The build watermark at the lower right-hand corner of the desktop has been returned.  Enhancements are being made to the Widgets button located on the taskbar, which will result in icons that are more distinct and a more extensive collection of animated icons. When it comes to the Widgets board, developers now have the ability to send notifications to the taskbar button using their own custom dashboards.

Microsoft has released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22635.3500 to Windows Insiders in the beta channel.

The new account manager that is located on the Start menu offers a concise summary of the advantages of having an account as well as simple account administration. Users are able to send emails from the Windows Share window to their Gmail account through the capability of Windows Share. Regarding the addition of a recovery email address, a new banner that includes a "Add now" button is currently being implemented. This update addresses a number of issues and improvements that have been made to the Windows 11 operating system. The watermark that was placed in the lower right-hand corner of the desktop during the build process has been removed, but it will be reinstated in subsequent Insider Preview builds. The process of preparing for Windows 11, which will be the annual feature update, includes this step as part of the preparation process. Some of the issues that have been fixed include the inability to shutdown and hibernate in the most recent builds, the occurrence of error 0x80240067 when attempting to download app updates, and a DWM crash that affected some Insiders in the most recent flights. Additionally, the update addresses problems with voice access, the use of Windows Ink to write in Copilot, and the situation in which Copilot is docked and resized to a large width.

Microsoft has released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26090 to Windows Insiders in both the Canary and development channels. In Windows 11 Build 26090, several enhancements have been made to the Windows Insiders experience. One of these enhancements is the addition of a new navigation bar on the left side of the screen. This bar gives users the ability to switch between a dashboard that is solely dedicated to widgets and other integrated dashboards such as Discover. The newly introduced navigation pane gives users the ability to switch to the My Widgets dashboard, which offers them a complete experience that is exclusive to widgets from their preferred applications and services.

Additionally, beginning with Build 26085 and higher, modifications to the Server Message Block (SMB) protocol are implemented for QUIC, signing, and encryption. Through the use of PowerShell or Group Policy, administrators now have the ability to disable the SMB over QUIC client. It is now possible to write successful SMB over QUIC client connection events to the event log. This includes the QUIC transport. In addition, administrators have the ability to enable auditing of the SMB server and client in order to support authentication and encryption for SMB.
