Seba send me the follow email concerning the new Asus A7V bios:

There have been problems with the new Asus A7V bios 1005 update. The bios crashes on most systems, so I send you the instructions.

Per software:
0. Be sure that floppy disk boot is enabled in bios, then flash to 1005
using aflash 1.31
1. Boot from a dos boot disk (format a: /s without autoexec.bat/config.sys)
or press F5 while loading Win9x
2. Run the CLRCMOS.COM program (found together with Aflash 1.31). The
program doesn´t display anything on the screen!
3. Wait about 15 seconds, then reboot the pc.
4. Enter hard disk configuration and date/time, then exit the bios with the
Save&Exit option.
5. Configure the rest.

That´s it!
