PCinsight has posted a interview with Rene Froeleke, ATi (Europe).

Q3: Can you tell us the clock speeds of the Radeon? Also, what about memory speeds?

Rene: These clock speeds depend on the availability of memory. Right now we can only get hold of 183 MHz DDR SDRAM. We want to run chip and memory in sync, that means that the initial boards run at 183/183 MHz.

Q4: The Radeon is obviously ATi´s top of the line chip. Will ATi continue pushing the Rage Fury Pro (as the low-end) or will ATi have a "limited" flavour of the Radeon? (either running at a lower clock speed a la TNT2 Value or populate boards with SDR RAM)

Rene: We will continue to serve every segment of the PC market, this means that our Rage 128 PRO and other chip lines will continue to ship in their respective segments. Not every user needs a high-end graphic adapter and we don't want these users to pay for something that they don't need.
