t-break posted a review on the XFX R7750 Black Edition Overclocked graphics card

The Radeon HD 7700 series follows the traditional model of providing decent graphical capabilities for the budget PC gamer. Given the technical limitations of the HD 7700 series, there’s only so much power that can be derived from these cards, but leave it to manufacturers like XFX to come up with a highly customized solution that allows for a tremendous overclocking push.

The XFX R7750 Black Edition Overclocked, is, as the name implies, factory overclocked up to 900MHz on the core clock; a 12.5% increase from stock reference AMD speeds of 800MHz. The memory speeds, on the other hand, remain the same at 1125MHz (4.5GHz effective).

Now there are two big reasons why the XFX R7750 BE is capable of such speeds, and more. Firstly, their Ghost Thermal Technology heatsink atop the main body of the card ensures optimal cooling. The plate in touch with the GPU is all copper, which then connects to the main aluminum fin base that extends out over the memory and VRMs. Sitting on top of that are two 3-inch fans that cool off the entire card. Of course, the aluminum cover on top of the fans that gives the XFX R7750 BE its boxy look also helps out a lot in heat dissipation.
