LanOC Reviews: AMD Ryzen 5600 and 5700X

Last month AMD launched a refresh of some of their CPU range and while I didn’t have the full range we did take a look at the Ryzen 5 4500 which was an interesting update on the Zen 2 lineup. Well AMD did send a few more of their refresh CPUs over for me to take a look at. We have the Ryzen 5 5600 and the Ryzen 7 5700X. The 5600 fills in a gap behind the 5600X that I previously took a look at and the 5700X slots in between the 5600X and the 5800X. So today I’m going to check out how both perform and see if they are worth considering if you are building a budget to mid-range CPU this upcoming summer.

Anandtech: Best AMD Motherboards: May 2022

In what appears to be a final swan song for AMDs long-lived AM4 platform, AMD announced seven new Ryzen processors back in March, including the highly anticipated Ryzen 7 5800X3D which features AMDs latest 3D V-Cache. Although the Ryzen 7 5800X3D is primarily designed for gamers with its 3D stacked L3 cache (96MB!), weve taken a look at a number of different AM4 boards over the last few years that caters to users of all levels, with the latest chipsets including both B550 and X570S catering mainly to the Ryzen 5000 series of processors.
