eTeknix: MSI MPG SEKIRA 500G PC Case Review

We recently reviewed the excellent MSI GUNGNIR 100, which was named after Odin’s spear. MSI looks keen to follow that trend too, with their new SEKIRA 500G PC Case, which takes its name from the Axe of Perun, the most powerful & highest God in Pantheon. That’s a pretty bold name for a product, and clearly, it has to live up to a high standard because of that. Fortunately, it looks like MSI has gone all out on the SEKIRA. This is one of the most high-end and premium cases they’ve ever created, and that’s really saying something.

PC Perspective: Phanteks P360X Case Review: Form Over Function

Marketing departments for case manufacturers must be an exciting place to work. Come to think of it, it would be exciting in any marketing department for anyplace that has engineers and designers. I say that because I’m certain that the engineers and designers are constantly making attempts on the lives of their marketing counterparts (figuratively, of course! – Ed.). Imagine coming to work to discover that your recommended revision to the functionality of a product has resulted in Raiders of the Lost Ark style death traps being placed in your office.

techPowerUp: Intel Core i9-9900KS Review

The Core i9-9900KS is Intel's new consumer flagship processor. It runs at 5 GHz boost no matter how many cores are active, which translates into 10% application performance gained over the 9900K. Gaming performance is improved too, but pricing is high, especially compared to what AMD is offering.

IgorsLAB: GDDR6 memory temperatures comprehensibly explained and remeasured – is AMD doing everything right?

All the errors and confusions about the suddenly occurring value of the memory temperatures of AMD’s current graphics cards understandably lead to uncertainty among many users. Modern memory chips, such as Micron’s GDDR6 modules, allow you to read out the value of the chip temperature Tjunction, which is read out internally for special protection mechanisms (e.g. downclocking), which in itself is a nice addition. But the lack of knowledge about what it is really all about brings some contemporaries into distress and fear.

Today we test on OCinside.de the big Crucial MX500 SSD with 2TB capacity! Already some months ago we tested the Crucial MX500 with 1TB, which performed well. Can the big MX500 2TB SSD keep up with the fast MX500 1TB SSD? We show this in the following review!

LanOC Reviews: Crucial X8 1TB Portable SSD Review

The portable storage market is mostly split up into three categories. You have flash or thumb drives, portable external drives, then large capacity full-sized external drives. What you need to use the drive for will determine which type you might need. But over the years one thing is for sure, thumb drives have taken over the market. They are small, portable, and they have been quick. But have you ever shopped for extremely high capacit y thumb drives? To get a 1TB thumb drive you end up giving up a lot of that portability and performance is mediocre at best and the pricing can get really crazy. Not to mention there are a lot of fakes, even Amazon has them right at the top of the listings when you search for 1TB thumb drives. 1TB portable hard drives have been around for a long time but they are big and bulky, even when you get one based on 2.5-inch drives and they are extremely slow. This is why the portable SSD market has been taking off, you can get impressive performance, portability, and a capacity big enough to use as a game drive or to transport your important files. Well Crucial has finally jumped into the market with their introduction of the X8 and I finally have one in. I’m excited to check out the performance and see if it is faster than the two other portable SSDs that I use with my laptop.
