KitGuru puts the MSI MPG 322UR X24 under the microscope, finding that its fourth-gen Samsung Penta Tandem QD-OLED panel delivers noticeably brighter highlights and cleaner blacks in a 4K 240Hz package. The FPS Review takes another look at the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5090 GAMING OC 32G, benchmarking the factory-overclocked card against the Founders Edition and Radeon RX 9070 XT using 2026’s latest titles. Meanwhile, the peripheral and cooling roundup lands a quieter Cooler Master HAF II 500 mid-tower, a RAM-friendly Ocypus dual-tower CPU cooler with a custom matrix display, and a lightweight ViewSonic VG1457 dual-screen portable that trades color accuracy for travel convenience. The gaming corner sees Mortal Shell 2 draw sharply divided criticism over its difficulty spikes, while Wccftech gives The Sinking City 2 high marks for finally nailing its Lovecraftian horror tone.
Today’s Roundup: MSI’s Penta Tandem 4K 240Hz, a Re-Tested RTX 5090, and a Few Conflicting Takes
The tech review circuit never actually takes a day off, but today’s stack of drop-dead deadlines has a few real standouts. KitGuru got hands-on with MSI’s new 322UR X24, a 32-inch QD-OLED sporting Samsung’s fourth-gen Penta Tandem panel. The FPS Review decided it’s time to actually put the RTX 5090 through its paces with 2026’s latest titles. And somewhere between a dual-portable monitor and a Soulslike that divides critics down the middle, there’s more than enough to sort through before Friday.
Keep in mind that today’s roundup is a mixed bag. If you’re hunting for a new case, a quiet CPU cooler, or just want to know whether a dual-screen portable is worth lugging around, the short versions are below.
Cases and Cooling
Cooler Master’s HAF II 500 landed at TweakTown this week, and the consensus is straightforward. Great airflow. Plenty of drive bays. It runs quietly. Not cheap, but it doesn’t try to be anything other than a competent mid-tower.
TweakTown: Cooler Master HAF II 500 Mid-Tower Chassis Review
Cooler Master has built a great case with the HAF II 500. It performs extremely well, provides plenty of storage space, and does everything quietly.
Hardware Busters ran the Ocypus Delta A62 EX Digital, which packs six heatpipes and two 120mm fans into a RAM-friendly dual-tower chassis. There’s a matrix display bolted to the front. It looks like overkill on paper until you actually try to clear a top slot on a crowded motherboard. The Ocypus makes that headache optional.

The Ocypus Delta A62 EX Digital combines a dual-tower heatsink, six heatpipes, two 120mm fans, and a distinctive matrix display in a clean, RAM-friendly design.

Displays, Input, and the Games That Can’t Agree
The MSI MPG 322UR X24 is carrying some heavy specs. 4K, 240Hz, QD-OLED, and Samsung’s latest Penta Tandem architecture. KitGuru notes it skips the RGB stripe sub-pixel layout from earlier MSI panels this year, but swaps it for higher peak brightness and a new anti-glare coating that should make blacks actually look black. The AI Care Sensor is also in the box.
On the portable side, ViewSonic dropped the VG1457, a dual-screen unit that flips between portrait and landscape. Tom’s Hardware found it compact and light, though the color accuracy sits firmly in consumer territory. Great for spreadsheets on a plane. Roughly equivalent to carrying two 14-inch laptops worth of display real estate.
KitGuru: MSI MPG 322UR X24 Review (Penta Tandem 4K/240Hz QD-OLED)
Today we are back with another QD-OLED review, as we check out MSI's new 322UR X24. This is brand-new for 2026, featuring Samsung Display's 4th Gen Penta Tandem panel technology, alongside a 4K resolution and 240Hz refresh rate. It doesn't get the new RGB stripe sub-pixel layout we saw with the MSI MPG 341CQR X36 earlier in the year, but compared to previous 4K panels, it promises higher brightness, an improved coating to improve perceived black levels, as well as the AI Care Sensor that MSI debuted last year. Let's see if it's worth buying…

For input devices, TechPowerUp ran the Pulsar ZywOo The Chosen Mouse Gen.2. It’s hitting 8,000 Hz polling natively, with ultra-low click latency and a solid optical switch. The glide is praised. The price, however, has some enthusiasts asking if “Gen.2” really justifies the jump. Incremental updates don’t always land.
TechPowerUp: Pulsar ZywOo The Chosen Mouse Gen.2 Review
The Pulsar ZywOo The Chosen Mouse Gen.2 delivers impressive specifications with true 8000 Hz polling, ultra-low click latency, and a high-quality optical switch setup. With a sleek design and excellent glide, it's tailored for competitive gamers. However, its incremental updates may leave some enthusiasts questioning the price tag.
The FPS Review went back to the GPU bench with the GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 5090 GAMING OC 32G. They’re comparing the factory-overclocked model against the Founders Edition and the Radeon RX 9070 XT, using titles that actually ship in 2026. If you’ve been waiting for a real-world performance check beyond day-one benchmarks, this is it.
The FPS Review: GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 5090 GAMING OC 32G Video Card Review
We re-test the GeForce RTX 5090 in 2026 with newer games, a factory overclock, and compare it with the Founders Edition, and Radeon RX 9070 XT.
Then there are the games. Mortal Shell 2 managed to split reviewers almost evenly. Windows Central called it a Soulslike with “true franchise potential.” Wccftech said it’s a tough sell unless you enjoy cheap deaths and a little jank. Two very different takes on the exact same build. If you're keeping score, The Sinking City 2 got a more unified nod from Wccftech, with the Lovecraftian survival horror finally feeling like it knows what kind of horror it’s trying to be.
