CORSAIR DOMINATOR PLATINUM RGB Memory Kit Review

The new DOMINATOR PLATINUM RGB kits from CORSAIR do feature a really impressive lighting system thanks to the 12 bright CAPELLIX LEDs and are driven by the already-proven unified iCUE software. These include a custom 10-layer PCB for good signal quality and the ICs are well binned in order to meet the product specifications. Logitech Z606 5.1 Speakers Review

Logitech this week released a new model of affordable 5.1 surround sound speakers. Priced at $129.99, the Logitech Z606 is a 5.1 powered speaker setup aimed at users looking for a budget-minded upgrade to their home theater or PC audio experience.

We got an early look at the Z606 and found that, despite some improvements over previous Logitech surround sound packages, its lack of digital inputs may limit its appeal. But if your specific audio setup conforms to the system’s limitations, you’ll end up with a nice sounding 5.1 system that’s hard to beat for the price.
Check out our complete quick look review to see if the Logitech Z606 is the affordable surround sound system youre looking for.

Razer Kraken Tournament Edition Gaming Headset Review

Razer's Kraken line of gaming headsets have been around for a very long time, we actually took a look a the original Kraken Pro way back in 2013.  Quite a lot has changed since then, but one thing remains the same, as gamers we want a headset that not only sounds good, but is very comfortable to wear for long gaming sessions.  Today we are checking out the latest Razer gaming headset, which is the Kraken Tournament Edition.  This comes as an upgrade to the Kraken 7.1 V2, which came out in late 2016.  This headset brings with it 50 mm drivers, a USB controller, retractable microphone, cooling-gel ear cups, and of course that Razer style we all know and love.  This is actually the first consumer product to feature THX Spatial Audio, which we will dive into as well.  Razer has this headset priced at $99, which is a very crowded price-point for gaming headsets.  Can it stand out? USB 3.2 standard to absorb USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 specifications

So you will get USB 3.2 Gen 1, USB 3.2 Gen 2, and USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 ports and interfaces. The USB Implementers Forum outlined the USB 3.2 spec back in July 2017. At MWC 2019 today it provided an update (PDF file) on branding and name changes for USB 3.0 and 3.1. In brief, the USB 3.2 standard will absorb USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 specifications so you won't see such standards mentioned on new products. Unfortunately such branding will remain on kit you might already own, of course, serving to confuse…

With the new branding there are three standards outlined, and three new 'marketing names' as follows, with a reference reminder to what they used to be called.
