Microsoft is adding new automatic backup functionality to its SkyDrive cloud-storage app for iOS, and is adding new Facebook integration and upload capabilities to SkyDrive.com

From All About Microsoft:
The SkyDrive app for iOS, which Microsoft initially rolled out two years ago, can now automatically upload photos and videos to SkyDrive, the way they can already with Windows Phone. iPhone and iPad users can control whether these uploads happen over Wi-Fi or their data networks, as well as whether photos are uploaded at their origional resolution or down-sampled to save space on SkyDrive. Users can free up space on their i-devices by deleting photos and videos from them once they've uploaded them to their single SkyDrive camera roll. iOS 7 users get larger thumbnails via today's update, too.

Additionally, the new update to the iOS version includes improved editing and viewing in Office Mobile and OneNote integration. Office Mobile users can open a document from SkyDrive directly into Office Mobile or OneNote instead of the Quicklook viewer.
