t-break takes a quick look at the K-World G19 3.1 Gaming Speaker System
With games getting more engaging and immersive, investing in a good pair of headphones or a good set of speakers has become quite necessary. While there are tons of options for the former (as I am sure you have seen reviews of here at Tbreak), a good speaker system that does not burn a hole in your wallet are hard to come by.
K-World’s 3.1 speaker system, the G19, however, is in that likeable minority. It’s priced around AED 180 and promises to offer a solid surround experience for games. But that’s on paper, let’s see how it fares in our quick look.
Design
The G19 looks sharp, or at least tries to with its Transformer-esque appearance (I was going to refrain from using the Transformers example but the G19’s website itself uses the iconic Autobots icon as a bullet-point for “great design”). That’s not necessarily a bad thing though, the whole system is aesthetically pleasing and looks modern on the table, however it feels a bit cheap on touch. But that’s quite expected for this price-point.
