i have a 300mmx amd k6-3/d, 160 ram. i'm using my win98 bootup disk with cd rom drivers to get too where i can load nt. doesen't work. i formated the harddrive and added system files,still won't install.

Please Help..Win2k and 3dfx

I have the Desktop TV from 3dfx and have been running a dual boot OS since installing 2k. The only reason, keeping in mind, is that I want to be able to use my TV card. The other issue that I have is that the reference drivers from Nvidia ( I have a Gullie TNT2 Ultra) wont' work with the TV card after version 2.

Does anyone know if the 3DFX TV tuner works in 2000? I know the WinTV series works but they really suck. And the ATI-TV Wonder won;t have drivers until March. Any recommendations?.

hi all, i want to clean install win2k on a single partition ©, usinf NTFS file format. What i need to know is if win2k fuc** up, can I just reboot to DOS and use the good old FORMAT C: dos command to wipe everything like in win95/8 etc?? I.

Please help me guys. Each time I shut down or restart my system, it takes about 5 minutes to fully reboot or shutdown! I could however use the power off button on my PC, but each time I do that scandisk is scaning my files on the next boot, thinking I had an illigal shut down.

Anyone get this game to work? The game worx fine for me under win2k pro but when I go to load up a game I saved a windows error pops up and crashes the game. Anyone else encounter this or is it an isolated prob.

I fixed that terrible problem in device manager that when you install a device it gives you an error about the files not being found even thou they were found. go to the ms update thing in your start menu, and go to the history of installed devices if you have allready installed stuff, and click to reinstall everyt ...

Anyone know how to fix Creative's infamous devldr32. exe lockup when trying to shut down or reboot? Or to keep it from loading twice in memory when one goes stale? I think this is the source of a lot of my problems (yes, using Liveware 2k fresh).
