I can't believe that someone reading this doesn't know why my cd rom drives are not in my computer all at one and are in the device manager with a yellow exclamation mark beside both of them. .

I sit here day after day trying my best to defend Microsoft as a company. When this whole lawsuit first came out I defended MS, I felt that the whole thing was pointless and stupid. I have lived through the Win9x line of products crashing on me at every turn.

I have a Ms sidewinder force feedback wheel GAMEPORT VERSION. The software that came with it (ver 3. 0) doesn't work with w2k. I tried installing the wheel in game devices in control panel and it worked.

same old nt trouble

2 weeks ago i was trying to get this solved and i'm still stuck. I loaded nt 4. 0. I tried to load aol 5. 0. from the cd. It would only load 3. 0. I tried to load service pack 3(nt said it at least required this).

The popular RTS, TZAR, doesnt work in windows 2000. This is by far my favorite game. Does anyone have any ideas on howto fix the game so it works in win2k.

Win2k, DUN, and a few programs

Hello, DUN has been working fairly well in Win2k for me. Outlook Express, IE 5. 01, and a few other net programs launch a connection just fine. But, Microsoft Messenger, Everquest (online game), and WS FTP Pro will not launch a dialup connection.

My problem with this drive is that of two things. First, during boot-up when my computer checks all IDE Devices it hangs for a bit then I get the error ATAPI Incompatible for the Secondary Master (where i have the burner set up).

I've heard a lot of issues good or bad about the Hollywood Plus Windows 2000 Beta 1 driver. So, let's get this straightened out for the record. If you like playing D3D games, I highly recommend you stay clear of the Beta drivers for the Hollywood Plus.

DirectCD 3.01 and McAfee 4.5

DirectCD 3. 01 and McAfee 4. 5 are not compatible in Win2K Pro. System reboots on startup as soon as DirectCD attempts to load. Norton Anti-Virus solves the problem. Looking for a way to make it work with McAfee.

HP recently released drivers for the CD-Writer Plus 7200 External. The original problem with it was that it would boot to the BSOD. Even with the these drivers, it *still* does it!!! I have got the driver to install, and it shows in My Computer, but hangs when I try to access it, and when I reboot, it will BSOD on me.
