Can anyone help me ? I can't get my scanner Epson GT-5000 (SCSI) to work in Windows 2000. In Epson Website, they don't have any drivers to it. Please, e-mail me. Any help will be apreciated. Thanks. .

I just finished installing a couple of OS's under VMware, on Win2k. This is so much better for experimenting with different OS's than the dual-boot, multi partition option. Now I've got a month to get the money together to register the evaluation version.

does 3dfx Voodoo 3 3000 like SMP?

Hi This forum has alot about what doesn't work, but this is a question about what does 🙂 I have to send my TNT2U back for repair so I'd like to know if a 3dfx Voodoo 3 3000 works in SMP on an Abit BP6 with the latest drivers, and whether it can handle 'r_smp 1' in Quake 3 without hanging unlike the TNT2U.

im using a celeron 366 @ default settings and i just bought a Creative anhilator pro (ddr) ! i will get it next week but till than plz answer me this will it work good? how much frames i will get in 1024x768x32 and 1024x768x16(approximetly) im using an Asus P2B a celeron 366MHZ @ default and 128 mb ram

In certain games, when I run them, I just get a black screen. It's happened ever since I upgraded the drivers for my Asus 6800 Deluxe to the 3. 79 Final drivers from the 3. 75. I don't have the 3. 75 drivers anymore.

I'm using Win2K with a PIII 500mhz, 128mb RAM and V3 3000 AGP. Some of my games really lag and also some movies too. I dont know what the problem is. I have the latest video card drivers and really can't think of anything.

Will Win2k Gameplay always be slower?

Are games slower in Win2k mainly because vid card drivers have not matured? Or will they never really reach Win98 levels? Celeron 300a@464 on a Abit BH6 Rev 1. 01, 192 Pc100, Matrox G400 32 SH, SBlive Value, Supra Express 56i ISA, all running on Win2k pro with other odds and ends.

I am looking for a personal firewall for my computer. I have cable modem and am using ICS for my other computer. I have tried Zone Alarm, but it didn't allow me to configure the ports. I use a program called RemotelyAnywhere to do remote control on my machine.

ok so i bought this asus p3v4x motherboard about a month ago and upgraded my video from viper 2 to asus geforce 2 and it all went down hill from there horrible frame rates crappy stability weird anomilys i have updated all drivers i get same probs in win2k and win98 the viper II blew the geforce 2 away on this setup.

I have a problem with NTI CD Maker Pro 3. Even after installing the newest ASPI drivers like others suggested, I can't get this program to run properly under Windows 2000. I've used the ASPI driver check and it shows that they are indeed in the right directories as well.

Hey heres what I did. I reinstalled winMe on my c drive but I did this by formatting c and reinstalling. And win2k is on d. I tried booting off the cd and hitting repair but it couldnt locate the win2k installation.

When you cannot install or have problems installing software: When I tried to install Adaptec drivers for the cd-r, it was zeroing the size of the new files, and when I reboot, BSOD. Reason the crappy file protection, how to disable ? Here goes, open regedit search for this Windows Registry Editor Version 5.

Plextor 8/4/32 and audio cds

I'm having a strange problem with Easy CD Creator 4. 02 + Windows 2000 + Plextor 8423 CDR-drive. I can burn normal data-cds without problems, but when I try to burn Audio CDs Easy CD creator just stops burning CD after it has wroted TOC (I'm burning in DAO-mode).
