APM and Win2K

I'm now on my second install (thanks Toby) which is working fine. One problem has reared it's head: I can't set my computer onto standby and when I shut down, just after Windows disappears, the kernel crashes, so my PC doesn't power down.

CanoScan FB310 win2k drivers doesn't work

I have a Canon CanoScan FB310 scanner. I downloaded the new Win2k drivers for it, and the installation goes great and so on, but when i try to start scanner loading program, i get an error message saying: 0x2 and nothing more.

you all know how you have msconfig on 98 to setup and determine what programs you want to start when you start windows and i was wondering if win2k have anything like that so i can shut off some programs at startup.

is it just me and my machine but i am getting a bit tired with the slow speed that it runs at and it aint my machine thats the problem with a 600mhz celeron, 256mb 100mh of memory and a voodoo 5 5500 straped to my motherboard speed is not a problem as my computer is over clocked any way.

Wheel of Time (retail) with TNT2 on Win2000?

Crashes right after clicking on any of the games icon (Change Video Mode, Wheel of Time Safe Mode, Play Wheel of Time,. . . ) so I can't even choose the right API or any setting. . . ARRR Patch ver 333b and the D3D patch ver 2 installed.

NT4 w2k comparison

After upgrading (caugh) to w2k from NT4 sp6 I ran a couple of bench marks. I have not changed any of the settings, disks are set to dma all round. The hardware setup did not change. everything got slower (especially the disk mark nearly 50% slower) have a look at the clibench comparison below.

Hey guys, I just installed an MSI BX Master mobo and can't get WIN2K to boot while on the UDMA66 controller. My system is dual boot with WIN98 and WIN2K (on seperate partitions). WIN98 will boot just fine.

win98/nt dual boot?

1-i put win98 (fat32) on the c 🙁seperate h-drive)master. 2-i put nt 4. 0 (fat) on d 🙁seperate h-drive)as a slave. 3-i boot up to win98. (no dual boot choice) 4-is there suppose to be a dual boot screen generated by nt on the c: drive? thanks,jw.

hi. . . . i need help again. . . . thief 1 will install without needing to use -lgntforce. it will not start but instead dumps me back to the desktop. . . i can start it with apcompat but when i start the game im back at the desktop & theres no sound either im running win2k with the compat patches installed.

Two monitors burnt out in win2k...

Hi there, I'm having a really big problem here. I've burnt out my Viewsonic P815 and an old 14 monitor. Here is my problem. I am using the detonator 5. 14 drivers and played a couple games of quake and halflife.
