I cannot get Battlezone2 to run under Win2k. It installs goes into the menus but when you go to start the game, it crashes back to windows. It is the already 1. 1 Updated version, and no new patch from Activision.

Generic volume preventing standby

Whenever I try to go into standby mode, I get an error saying the generic volume is preventing standby, update drivers. . . . . . . . . All I've been trying to achieve is to get my hard disks to spin down after x amount of time.

Windows NT 4.0 Server

When i'm in the installation of Windows NT 4. 0 Server, after awhile, the program says Setup cannot determine a hard disk in which to setup windows nt. in the MS-DOS part of the setup, you were supposed to select a hard disk to install to or something like that, well, i doesn't even ask you where you want to install.

I have a couple questions on the core of my fcpga Celemine 600. . . (at 900+ for a week now) The flip chip design I have heard cannot be lapped. . . . is this true? and I have the golden orb cooler. .

Enable Celeron 2 Cache?

The Cache on the Celemine is 128k, the other 128 is obviously disabled, or it would be way close to a p3. . . is there any way to enable that? I know it's on the chip just disabled. There HAS to be a way.

Nedd some opinions on these free anti-virus programs

Ok I was wondering out of AVG 6. 0 antivirus and InnoculateIT person edition, which one you guys would deem better. I know both are free, I also know that both are Win2k compatible. I know avg 6. 0 scans email but I dont think InnoculateIT does.

Possible Win2k SP1 Problem

Notice the word possible here. I've been experiencing a problem with file systems which only seem to have started since I applies SP1. Over my two HD's I have 3 encrypted folders. 2 on my main C drive and 1 on my D drive.

Dazzle problems

I've been attempting to get my usb Dazzle to work in win2k for awhile now- the software doesn't like win2k. Any Ideas guys? There doesn't seem to be any new updates for the drivers at the website. .

Quake 3 in SMP mode

System specs: Dual PIII 500's Tyan Tiger 133 256 MB Ram CL Anihilator Pro (DDR) I love win2k. This is O. S. is by far the best that Microshaft has put out in my opinion. The only small problem I have is that Q3 won't load if I turn on SMP in the game.

i can't install this program with win2000pro. when i open the setup. exe program the program opens with the install wizard will guide you to. . . until 99% and then the computer will read the CD for a while then the setup program justs closes.

trouble with SP1

just installed service pack 1 and now i notice that win2k won't read my other drive. my system is NTFS and the other drive is fat32 (Maxtor 92041U4). it read it fine before. . . arghhh. anyway i'm a bit of a dullard so can anyone explain this, or if you're kind enough, solve my problem.

All my hard drives support it, and I am 98% sure my mobo does too. On the boot screen it says that SMART capability is disabled. Well, I've checked all the documentation on my mboard and have not found a way to enable it.

After installing SP1 I keep getting a filter faild error with blackICE I was using a 2. 1 something version but I just updated to the newest 2. 1. cl and I am still getting this error. Anyone beside me running into this?.

Hi all, I've managed to install NFS4 High Stakes onto my Windows 2000 machine (with SP1) which is as follows Celeron 300A @ 450 128MB RAM 15GB Hard Drive (NTFS Formatted) Voodoo3 3000 AGP Diamond MX300 Sound Card Yet when I try to run it I get a message saying the game data is corrupt and to reinstall the game.
