What's the deal with W2K and all these people who cannot install or play so many different games?? I have NEVER had a problem with ANY game that I have tried under W2K on my PC. I have only ever witnessed NFS5 not working on my dad's setup (works on mine).

kind of a dumb idea, but since XBox will be using a stripped version of NT5(2000) then why not add a section on here for it? I don't know what problems people would have or what questions would be asked but we have everything else NT here, why not an X-Box section.

Hello all I have two 30GB IBM Deskstars running under Win2000. Currently i have a 4GB system partition on a simple volume and a 54GB spanned volume under dynamic disk management. I am reasonably happy with this setup but i am wondering about the performance benefits of striping the disks.

OK, here's the situation. One box is running W2k AdvSer. I have 2 NIC's in it. One goes to the cable modem, the other goes to a Linksys 5 port switch. Second box is running W2k Pro. It has 1 NIC in it, connected to the switch.

As I connected to LAN the first time with win 2K it didn't work at all. Tried out two different types of ISA cards and it didn't work. It wasn't untill I replaced it with a PCI D-link card, that I got it to work.

How do you share DSL connection to 6 computers?

I was wondering if you have 6 computers, how would you setup to share the DSL connection? I have D-Link Router + Switch (DI-704) and it has only 4 ports so only 4 computers can share DSL connection. I have one computer running Win2k Server edition and the rest are running Win98 SE.

Removing Whistler safely from Dual Boot configuration

Greetings, I have two hard drives, each hard drive is seperated into 2 partitions, which makes 4 partitions total. For now I'll just number them 1-4. Partition 1 is the boot partition, it doesn't have any system files on it, only the boot.
