Dial up Networking problem

Guys Im having a problem with my dial up networking. The problem is two fold. One problem is when I dial up the internet all works fine but when i disconnect it takes like 10-15 secs for the dial up status to go away.

Windows Streaming Media = high cpu temp, low CPU usage!

I don't know if this would be an ACPI problem or what, but I just tried running a Windows Streaming Media file (ASX) and one of my CPU temps gets to the range of what my system gets for FULL processor load.

Hi! is someone istalled NAV 2001 on 2428? because when I istalled it on 2410 whistler won't come up at all, So I want to install it on the currnet built but I don't know if it's working. thanks for any assistence green.

OK here is the situation. I just got a TYAN Tiger 100. I put my 2 PIII 450's in it. Installed 98 and 2000 2 times. Each time 2000 kept rebooting, and giving me errors. I then formatted, installed 2000 only and I still have problems.

Anybody here play Counter-Strike? Last time when I install 7. 1x I think. . . Counter-Strike got screwed up so I went back to 6. 49. So I was wondering if anybody here play with 7. xx driver without any problem.

I'm trying to install Boggle on my Windows 2K desktop, but it won't fully install. When it gets to the DirectX files, it goes from 99% to 100% installed without copying the files. I have DirectX 8 installed and the latest video drivers.

Gamma problem with Counter-Strike and Quake I

My gamma is pretty bad in Counter-Strike and Quake I. I did adjust it manually with the gamma command to 10. 000 but nothing has happened. It's still dark Is there a gamma pack I can find to correct this? Quake II and III gamma is fine though Still don't know what the problem is.

FSAA in DIRECT3D with WIN2k?

Hello there !!! I have a little problem. FSAA don't work in direct3d games. FSAA works perfectly with Opengl games (Quake3 or Half-life) but doen't work with Direct3d games (Giants or No one lives forever).

problems with via busmaster drivers

I installed the newest 4 in 1 drivers and the via bus master drivers was installed, but the original ide drivers are still left, so they are coming in conflict with each others, what can I do about that? The new bus master drivers seems to work better with my harddrives.

Hi there! I cant get this game to work under win2000. It says on the box that 2000 is supported but. . I start the program and it goes to a black screen which says pro-rally 2001 in the corner, then nothing happens.
