I heard there is a proggie for Win2k that allows you to use 2 mice (mouses) with their own seperate cursor each. . . Anyone know where I can get this?.

Hey everyone, Where I work we use adnc. com for DSL. I just got a call from them and was told that Northpoint communications is shutting down by the middle of next week. I don't think anyone that is using a DSL provider that goes thru northpoint is going to get the message.

Hi Guys, This suddenly happened to my computer today. All the icons lost colors and now clock ugly (256 colors). . . My computer is set up in 16bit colors and i have tried 32bit too. I have tried to check and uncheck the Show icon using all possible.

Which file should i keep if i change my Windows 98 hard disc

I have to hard discs, the first one with Windows 98 and the second one with W2K. If i change disc 1, which files should i copy on my new disc to keep dual boot and continue with windows 2000 working???? Thank you, i m afraid of losing my windows 2000 system!!! THANK YOU GLUEV PRODUCTIONS.

Nearly everytime when I want to close a explorer window in win2k either the window or the whole explorer (taskbar, all other windows etc) crashes. Sometimes that also happens when I'm copying files to a folder.

Well I just want to say that I just loaded Whistler 2458 to complete my tri-boot and I love it. Havent had a problem yet and it has so many awesome added feature. Runs smooth as butter too. -Aaron.

I havent been using WinXP that long now so I might have missed it? but I know with my main win2k machine I have it set to assume admin logon and do it automatically(I dont need to worry about unauthorised use at home) thus saving me the time of actually being near the PC to type my login/password etc.

I know I could pass for a newbie, which currently I am, but I'm having a little problem: I was wondering if I could install a copy of NT Server on a machine which already has 2K Professional. I'd need that for work and that would be great! (I scream thinking of all the configs to redo).

New compatibility update keeps failing install???

I tried downloading it earlier today from the link here, and it said it could not install because it was unable to replace a system protected file required to run the update. So then later tonight I went to the Windows Update website and tried it, and that too failed.

The following value in the. SIF file used by Setup is corrupted or missing: value 0 on the line in section with key SP1. cab. Setup cannot continue. Any body ever see this one? Can't seem to get around it.
